I am looking for something large I can use to store milk and convenient for selling fresh cow milk and this looked like a perfect product to use As I would like to let people come with their own bottles ...so I wanted to ask your advice about using kegerators in general
I've had an Edgestar model BR3001BL for about 4 years now. Love it! And I would HIGHLY recommend the Perlick flow-control faucet to anyone considering buying a kegerator. If you haven't heard of them, look them up. Flawless.
These are no where near the top of the heap. Top 4 are Perlick, Beverage Air, True, and Avantco. I've been selling, installing and working on beer systems for over 30 years. Some of these companies listed don't even make their own systems. Some other company makes them and puts their name on them. Very common for companies to do that. Beverage Air used to do that for a company called Superior. Same as a Beverage Air but sold a little cheaper. They are no longer made. These 4 cpmpanies systems will probably last 30 years or more. Look around before buying. Most meisters now are made in China. Only top of the line meisters, like the ones I noted, are built in the USA.
@@jimsulsona4128 Never heard of them until now. I just watched a youtube video on it. The regulator they offer I recognize as one that looks like a of others that come out of China. They are always all chrome.I have replaced a lot of these over the years in other meisters. Another thing I didn't like seeing is the tower that comes with it. I saw the size of the holes that the shanks fit thru and the faucet attaches to it. The size of the hole looks to be 1/2"-5/8". If there is ever a problem with a shank or the tower, you are forced to but the parts from KOMOS, whoever they are. I couldn't find info about with a quick check. I would expect parts to be more expensive because they seem to be proprietary to them. I don't know any other meister that has towers like that. I sell all kinds of meister parts like faucets, shanks, towers, keg couplers and any other parts, washers or orings. I deal with 4-5 different parts companies and not one of them offers parts like that. If you like the unit buy it, or see if they offer it without the tower. You could then buy your own tower and faucets on your own. Good luck in your decision. Hope this helped.
@@curtzeek8818 If I remember correctly from the video, the tower is stainless, not chrome. Not sure about the hardware, but I did see they offered separate hardware on their site.
@@jimsulsona4128 I was talking about the regulator when I said chrome. Most towers are SS now. The regulator looks like the type that come out of China in a lot of other meisters. I have replaced a lot of them for customers that come in my store.
Soo did these business owners who use the kegerators you recommended need to sell off organs to buy them…? First one I looked at for Perlick is $5k!!! This video is recommending a Honda Accord and you came in said no you want a Rolls Royce instead 😂
Spent to many year's in Germany! American bear is trash, haven't even found any imports that even come close to German beer! So I graduated to Canadian whiskey!!!

Hey, Curt...what about the Komos kegerator? Do you have any experience or info about those?

Bc of the constant nonsense!
No justification for it!
Your just to Mean!
not a word about pricing, noise levels or quality, almost just useless information.

Paul, what does this have to do with kegerators? (Although I agree about German beer!)
There are literally thousands of great microbreweries in America with great craft beers
Yup thousands of highly tasty IPAs out there. He must be talking about Coors Light 😂
