To reach black belt is only the beginning of martial arts. Becoming a black belt empowers one to go in depth about the learning process of martial arts by teaching.
Also, every practitioner will practice differently. If you want to know how badass someone is in a fighting situation, I recommend typing in "karate fighting tournament"
