Dragon Ball Super (Japanese: ドラゴンボール超スーパー, Hepburn: Doragon Bōru Sūpā) is a Japanese manga series written by Akira Toriyama and illustrated by Toyotarou. Set during the time frame of Toriyama's original Dragon Ball manga, it follows the adventures of Son Goku and friends during the ten-year timeskip after the defeat of Majin Boo.[3] It began serialization in Shueisha's monthly shōnen manga magazine V Jump in June 2015. The manga is simulpublished in English by Viz Media and by Shueisha on their Manga Plus platform. It was the final manga that Toriyama had any involvement with before his death in March 2024.
Beast ( ビースト, Bīsuto)[4][6][5] is a powerful transformation utilized by Gohan. It was given its name by Piccolo.[2]
The Beast form is unique to Gohan outside of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2,[7] and when utilizing the form he is referred to as Gohan Beast[8] (孫そん 悟ご飯はん・ビースト Son Gohan Bīsuto).[7]
Son Gohan (孫そん悟ご飯はん Son Gohan) is a half-breed Saiyan and one of the most prominent characters in the Dragon Ball series. He is the elder son of the series' primary protagonist Goku and his wife Chi-Chi, the older brother of Goten, the husband of Videl and father to Pan. He is named after Goku's adoptive grandfather, Gohan.

Goku and Gohan sparring, and Goku's proud smile as they clashed, so wholesome. As a Gohan fan they movie was the step the series needed, making more character relevant, all of his works were gifts but his parting gift really hit home.
I couldnt even talk during this one man, I litereally cried. This is a feeling a lot of young boys felt growing up. watching DBZ and other inspiring shonens to make them feel great. This was awesome man, and an amazing tribute to Toriyama sensei! 🧡
