If you’re in a house and not an apartment then you can get a little lockable box and put it out of view. That’s what we do and it’s saved me so many times. It might be hard for people to find a place to hide it though as they’re quite bulky.

Most house keepers when entering both knock and verbally announce themselves in order to not startle anyone inside. Sane gun owners wouldn't shoot someone who cracks the door open and yells "housekeeping!" Even if they weren't supposed to be there it would be easy to explain using our words not our guns that the home owners didn't order housekeeping.

Well, my cleaning maid is a registered nurse (BSN, RN), but she has multiple clients including me where she comes over and cleans their place as a side gig. And best of all, I have good conversation with her, because I am actually going to school for my BSN.

Most house keepers when entering both knock and verbally announce themselves in order to not startle anyone inside. Sane gun owners wouldn't shoot someone who cracks the door open and yells "housekeeping!" Even if they weren't supposed to be there it would be easy to explain using our words not our guns that the home owners didn't order housekeeping.
