I love the Disney World Christmas lie, a truly classic play.
The weirdest catholic grade school assembly I remember was a former cheerleader who had gotten tossed in the air at a game and landed on her head and was all gimped out in a chair. I don't remember what the message was, "don't be a cheerleader" I guess.
In high school we had a dude with AIDS come speak. He claimed he got it when he was minding his own business as a night security guard somewhere when a prison escapee randomly graped him. I wasn't buying that story.
Forgot to mention: the AIDS assembly was put on by Father Beighlie, who was friends with the AIDS guy. About 5 years ago, Father Beighlie got caught with thousands of images of kids and a good dozen videos, he's spending his dying days at a camp for disgraced priests.

I laughed at those random assemblies they're so relatable. We had the cheesy middle school no smoking and good citizenship assemblies we were little shits just randomly cracking up at the speaker and his cheesy powerpoint and the random singers/rappers it was like you invited a chrisitan rap group or something like that and dude we lost our seating privileges to the sixth graders since 7 and 8 graders sat on the bleachers. It was worth it because we were still doing the same shit in the floor til they told us we couldn't behave to be in the gym during these assemblies and pep rallies. High School was no better but atleast the DUI thing that Shane said for us was just a drivers ed class thing watching old school videos of death on the road by the Ohio State Police apparently these 1950s videos from them were the only things with gore and graphic images that can be categorize as education.
