Great to see you back! It feels very ironic that PG, as a company, is simultaneously cutting things (lineage legendaries, wave 2 dragons, atlas/wave 1 rider) because people are not interacting with the content while, at the same time, releasing new stuff for their mythics that requires finishing at minimum 5 branches to access and up to 7 branches if you want all the perks for a mythic. Seems like mixed messaging to me! Add to that the fact that, if you finish 7 branches to complete your first mythic, you will have 42 season keys from the branches, plus 6 more keys from the mythic refunds, so far more keys than you need to open up the second (although you'll still need 4 more branches for the 8 ascension tokens...) Anyway, the math behind these new changes is utterly perplexing. That said, as long as they don't adjust the power of towers to calibrate for seasonal mythic dragons "coming with" a mythic rune and glyph, plebian players such as myself aren't losing anything. I'm happy to see what I can turn 6 or 7 ascension tokens in for next season! The decision that actually annoys me is putting the Electrum Branch so early in the season, makes accessing the 20% bonus and the 50% discount lines very hard.
Yay, lets make it even harder for FTP (free to play) players to keep up with pay to play... 1 full branch for just the exotic rune? Rune/Glyph for Nockmar = 30% extra healing and 10% HP... is that honestly worth the possible struggle for 4 branches for free to play? Maybe 4 branches for all 3 rewards... It's yet another way to get more people to spend money and to boost PTP players yet again.
@@bpindel Yeah, but they or any other private company doesn't really care about it. They always ''sell'' a game with a promise of being a ''free game'' on their marketing but in reality is not.

Im sorry but you can't sit here trying to protect a company for making decisions to ruin their game. There's a reason so many people leave after certain updates bc they strictly cater to only FTP. We have had maybe like 5 big updates over the course of 4 years that helped FTP. But its like the ol' saying 1 step forward and 3 steps backward. Its the same with them constantly increasing the cost of mythics each season from 16 to now 20 keys. From 28k sigils per branch to 37.5k sigils. It's unnecessary.
@@bpindel sorry if you get the wrong idea, but I'm not defending or protecting them. I am a free to play (f2p) also and I'm just seeing me leaving this game in the future if I can't keep up more. Now with this new changes, let's see if it'll be able to get a mythic (and now this exotics dragon runes/glyph).
It is utterly pointless to change those mythic evolution mechanics if PG doesn't improve the drop rate for sigils. 5/6 whole branches for 1 fully ascended mythic seems unfeasible for the most of the player base atm considering the current drops. What a shame. I am excited by the changes, but it's painful to see that even tho I'm lvl 530 atm, it gets harder and harder to have access to all the perks of the game... when in my view it should be easier as you progress further into the game
how do you even get the sigils? In the season tab if you go to the bottom by the quests section it shows that you can only get 100 sigils every 5 days and you have to complete quests to do so. But if that is the only source of sigils it is literally impossible to complete any of the branches, so im assuming there are others ways to get sigils. Please let me know, if you know, I would appreciate it :)

You still get the typical rune and glyph, these mythic ones are extra and better
