After FBI stopped artists to come to America, 12,500 people who volunteered to build this mandir were not artisan, they had family,job and business some were students. they stopped their work,let go job and promotions, sacrificed time and energy to make this happen. They hire people from india cuz of the gap in wages and labour is cheap. It helps them get the job done at cheaper prices and it helps people here earn more than they would if they did the same exact job locally
So it's a win win situation for both the parties.
