How to Make Your Mechs Jump without Wing Jetpack | Build a Boat

Quick video of how you can make your mechs well.. jump without using wings. I have to establish the flaws i've found with this method over the year of using it before my friend gifted me wings.
1. It takes a while to fall back to the ground after jumping
2. You can't use thrusters for propulsion
3. If you use shift lock, and try to rotate your camera, the mech will move along with it
I'm not saying that everyone should use this, nor do I think many people will, it's an accidental discovery that made me able to do this. i accepted that it was probably the best option i had to be able to jump.

it is a very flawed method that i don't expect whatsoever to become a widely accepted and used method to make mechs jump, especially since it negates the use of thrusters for propulsion. it's just that i've been getting some comments on how my old mechs could jump, and people commenting on my frame tutorial if you need wings to jump. it's the most optimal solution, but isn't one that people without robux can get by themselves.

yep, the piston isn't required if your mech already has enough space in the torso for the hinge system
