Does the cooling tower water in the deoderizer unit travel through a heat exchanger (ie. clean cooling tower water circuit) or does the fatty acid + water travel directly through the cooling tower? One method is steam/electric heat tracing along product lines w/ Appropriate insulation, tanks for oils with High melt points should be equipped with heating coils, most efficiently would likely be steam coils. A mixer such as a side entry, will be needed to agitate the materials to remain at a consistent and liquid temperature. Automation can be a good tool for oils that can degrade/smoke or burn at too high of a temperature, but remain solid at ambient temperatures.

Hello professor I have a problem each time I refine crude palm oil I always have the sterin settle at the bottom and it reduces the oil quality so what can I do to have clean refine palm oil without sterin settling at the bottom thanks for replying
