Oh god this brings back memories 😂 After I graduated 10th grade I went to a different school at did grades 11 and 12 with a focus on electrical engineering (basically we were taught the basics of electricity and how to connect stuff and all that, think of year one and two for a spark apprentice) we were doing something with oscilloscopes (I don't remember what exactly). So here we are looking at our oscilloscopes and all the ones I can see are showing more or less the same pattern (which is to be expected, the teacher told us exactly what to do). Well, we had this one "girl" (she was much older and had flunked out of all other schools that have similar programs before) in our class that was, let's call it a little special. So we start to notice her oscilloscope and it's going absolutely nuts, like it's all over the place like it's having a fucking stroke. It was glorious.
Very cool use of vintage looking equipment. Cool beat too. If I ever dig my old black and white little Sony crt I converted to an xy o-ish-scope out I’ll try to remember to do a short @ you 🎉 Flexes cutting wires inside of what was probably an antique 😂
Clipping hard. I do wonder how these things work tough, writings on a oscilloscope. What values they represent and how you get the exact frequencies and loudness.
Electronics, it's a tool to measure waveforms and Analyse Stuff that a human would have no way of analysing (like frequencies that reach way in the millions of pulses per second) Even simple electronics work with frequencies in the 20.000 (Hz) just fore some small semblance of what this type of tool can do. In the video here the OP used a 2 channel scope to measure 2 different waveforms that result in the image and the audio.
Interesting how you kept the image the same but the pitch changed. I'm assuming you mapped left channel to x-axis and right channel to y-axis (or vice versa)?
@Bloxenbie sadly I haven't been able to play it because of the 3000 rand price tag. That's about a month's pay in my area of SA so pretty damnn expensive
Gonna need the full song's link, G.

Lol. I might do something with my oscilloscope too !
Wish I could find people in real life that could do this I'd make a rap album with em
Please full video and song!!!

Likely the clipping was necessary for however he mapped x and y to make the image appear large enough on the screen
Uh yeah I sure hope it's clipping
@@the-np4mrclipping in audio engineering is when the amplitude of an audio signal hits the limit. It appears to be "too loud".
Noice
Lol thatd awesome gimme dat
Why is the soundcloud version in a different pitch?
what is the version?
Time to run Doom on it.

What scope is that?
Bar graph displays??
This is fuckin beyond me
Juat think about old marks i tried from 1960
what scope is thet ?
What's the model number of your oscilloscope?
how loud are vectorscope/oscilloscopes? Any machine noise when turned on? ie fan noise or humming or mechanical noise?
What scope it is?
What model is this?
Now make it 3D and slowly turning back and forth
what is that thing used for, like, normally? hospital equipment?

you can set it whichever way you want i think
