It's seriously impressive how effortless you make city skating look, keep up the excellent work. Really enjoy watching just a good city skate with some music to get that confidence to go hit it myself, I'll come back for more like this for sure.
HOnestly it's not that risky..... Wednesday night every week hundreds of skaters get together to skate the city.... it's a lot of fun.... April thru October.... Southside Union Square 8:00pm ........... @wednesdaynightskatenyc
If I get it right, you started skating three years ago. Was it with no skating background at all!? If this is correct, you're so good at it! How could you improve so much in so little time!? 😮
I'd say it's well doable. I started skating in Summer 2021 (so, 3rd season now) and I don't think I would be toooo far from his skill level. I have learnt everything by myself. The first Summer, I didn't even know anyone else who skates. All other skaters who I met during 2nd season were far below my level. Well, I skated with a used 15$ pair of skates, like 15yrs old ones until I finally got myself some FR skates during 2nd Summer. I had been on skates probably two times in my life prior and that's it. I did some ice skating two years prior which definitely helped a lot. I was consistent with training and focused early on on the fundamentals i.e. moving in all directions (forward, sideways, backwards) and build skills, transitions, flows, stops etc from there. I think inline skating is really a sport one can pick up quickly while the reward is just amazing!
As a small town Michigander, do you ever get in trouble for weaving through traffic? It looks fun but I've no where to street skate at this octane. Great video 🤟
not only is the skating just seamlessly ridiculous I find myself trying to figure out his camera and what he's holding than trying to follow his ridiculously impressive moves haha
Big quad skater here..... just got some Rollerblades RB Pro X (I got wide feet) ...... once I get used to them I'll be seeing you out there.... 😀 ..... @wednesdaynightskatenyc
The seamless transition into and out of speed-gaining backward crossovers, shifty heel pushes, and head on a swivel... this guy hockeys! 🏒

daamnn, that looks so risky, but you're an amazing skater though so I guess it's fine. Have you ever got injuried in one of these skating sessions?
