Jadite is my favorite collectable!! I have been collecting it for almost 30years and my mom collected it before that. It's so beautiful. You have to be very careful though, Martha Stewart put it on the map when she started sharing her collection in her magazine. Since then fakes have flooded the market. Especially cake plates, salt and pepper shakers, grease jars, measuring cups, and butter dishes. Is your hen on a nest marked? I think that might be part of the 90's stuff, but I am not sure. I had never seen one of those in jadite until the reproductions started happening. Either way it's very pretty, just don't want you to pay a premium price for something that isn't the real deal. I just hope you know how much you have been a ray of sunshine for your followers. In a world of young people who don't care about tradition, family, and values you and your family are such a comfort! I never had a daughter, but if I did I would pray for her to be just like you! Especially since you are collecting jadite, you are nearly perfect!!!!
Claire is absolutely adorable and no doubt hard to go back to work. Hopefully you will find a better fit soon. The jadeite pieces are pretty and I never knew jadeite glowed.

I’m 73 years old and my grandmother had an old fashion kitchen cabinet with glass doors filled to the brim with jade ware. They were her every day dishes. You are very sweet and a hard-working lady. Love the chicken on its nest in jadeite. This weekend I saw a Pyrex bowl teal in Hot Air ballon pattern, never saw this pattern. Anyway they wanted $99 for one large bowl. Nursing jobs and no weekends are hard to find I know. I worked Pheresis for 35 yrs and was pretty much day/evenings and evenings was ending at 7:30 pm. But call was involved. But i did like the job you did platelet donors and then therapeutic side with patients for plasma exchanges etc. You do become use to new norm but always a juggling with babies and kids.😊 I hope you find a position that is good for you and your family.
My daughter loves Jadite and I just purchased a piece for her birthday. I love it too but it seems to be more expensive than some of the other items I collect. I think as you collect more Jadite it might be pretty on your new small china cabinet. I have really enjoyed your channel from day one when I watched you the first time. 😊❤😊

Nursing has been a great and rewarding profession.....but when littles come along we gotta be creative in changing course. I went from inpatient round the clock neonatal intensive care to out patient case nanagement of high risk maternal child with some prn nursing pool in between when the kiddos were really young. I remember when i was a little girl my grandma had coffee cups that I'm pretty positive were jadeite, and i think there was a sugar bowl. But I really wish i knew who had them now🫤 They would be well over 100yrs old!!😮 She passed in 1985 and was 83.. so yeah around 122yr old pieces! I'm sure it glowed as well! I have a pretty long list of things I'm looking for, going to get one of those pieces this week, my wash board(and hopefully more too😊) Looks good in your hutch and totally enjoyed watching, you're a hoot😄 Pray you find that job that's right for you & your family🙏

I do have some of Martha Stewart’s jadeite, but mostly my collection is Anchor Hocking Fireking Jadeite. I also love how it looks with my crockery and wooden pieces! My Fireking jadeite does not glow, but it is old. It was produced in the. 50’s and 60’s. Claire is such a sweet little doll! I love baby smiles and cooing!! Fire King(Anchor Hocking) is probably the most popular brand of jadeite. I used to collect Fire King jadeite and other pieces. Most Fire King (not all) will be marked on the bottom. Get a collector's book all about jadeite/Fire King. It will have a lot of good info. McKee is the McK. The J is Jeannette. Each stamp is a different manufacturer.

Love the Jadeite chicken and the pop of color it adds to the woods and whites. I love the color of Jadeite and only have one piece that I randomly found, in the wild, at a thrift store last year. It's a large Fenton flower frog for 50 cents!

Great video once again. I love Jadeite and Ironstone, but I would not have come up with the idea to display them together. They look SO GOOD together in your hutch. Your unique and creative ideas are great fun, so thank you for the inspiration!
