This is an amazing place and so impressive. Has had a bit of renovation recently and they are still doing things to the house. Lots of events as well on the front lawn (which used to be a massive garden but it got dug up for mining) Wentworth festival, food shows and much more. We walk to there loads as its close to home. If you carry on down the drive you can usually see the deer on occasions through the year and they have some nice lakes to walk around. Also nice pubs in the village, café, restaurant and wine shop. We also did our first ever practice video walking there and finished in front of the house. Thanks for sharing as always and glad you enjoyed from us two !
Been coming here for over 35 years. My dad used to deliver/collect laundry from the house staff in the early 1970s. It astonishes me its still not widely known about.
Thank you for sharing this video. I've never been to Wentworth Woodhouse, it's so impressive! Absolutely beautiful! I wish I could stay there for a night. Athena is so sweet, she was as good as gold!
Lived in Whitley, North of Doncaster for years and never heard of it, worse still we visited Chatsworth a few times when living there. I do miss the Yorkshire seaside towns though and still have fond memories of Scarborough and the beaches jam packed in the early 60s Peasholm Park with its models and the Black & White Minstrel Show on the front. My wife just reminded me that we moved back to Scotland in 2007. I do enjoy these videos just as much as Rate My Takeaway, wishing you and the family all the best from a warmish Torrevieja
Awww loved this. That building was just beautiful with all that history. Aldi how your little baby girl was so content all the way through. Thankyou for this lovely video ❤❤
@@MrandMrsYorkshire I am so looking forward to to going now, we only got a sneak peek really in comparison to how huge it is. I'll pay any price for a while tour! Bless you too Sophie, as Daddy drove away, well.. the buggy driver and you were left behind! At least you got your steps in and Baby Orphilia got her fresh air.. you amaze me 💪❤️
It would be a good idea to go to Wentworth castle, another stately home half a dozen or so miles from Wentworth Woodhouse and to learn why they both exist. Both built by two feuding factions of the same family.
Great to have you with us, we're glad you enjoyed your visit!
Thanks again! We will be back soon
Smashing couple !
Loved watching this!!
More videos with this format& runtime would be brilliant🙌🙌
More to come! So appreciate that every Wednesday at least x
