Thanks, this and the piece across the top of the windshield were my problem! It helped to know what was in there before I took it apart. Everybody else only talks about the udders and HVAC drain. This one's tricky because it hides inside the A-pillar trim but ends up on the floor. Can't get anything but the weatherstrip anymore.
Yep exactly! I remember trying to hunt down leaks when I first got mine and it was all about udders. And replace your targa seals, even though it’s a hard top. Glad this helped.
The hard top can leak between the gutter and the roof panel too. Windshield seal comes in lengths of sticky rope that works pretty good at resealing that long seam without taking out the gutter or the headliner. I suspect that is where his original leak was coming from. I had a bad one on the passenger side.

For the review trim on the door I used the right stuff...great seal clean look.
