To anyone that runs into an issue of not being able to deploy the Firebase storage and Firestore rules. Make sure your Firestore database is configured to be in "Native" mode rather than "Datastore" mode. This can be controlled in the Google Cloud Console.
@@cardova4981 Hi - log into Firebase and navigate to Firestore database under the build section on the left. On that page there should be a message telling you the database is in Datastore mode and can be controlled from the Google Could Console. Follow that link and find the option to switch to 'Native' mode. Hope this helps.
Had same issue, what I did was I created a project on firebase, then just inputted the project id on flutterflow. Basically create the project on firebase itself..

How would you manage multiple environments for firebase? Keep switching between multiple project ids? And when you deploy you would change to production firebase id?

@@cardova4981 it is in the console, if your dataset is emply there should be an option to change it to native. it is like a banner ad
When setting up Firebase in here, google auth page doesn't show up and i can't proceed to creating firebase. Anybody knows how to solve it?
