There will be a long term review after I use it more but so far definitely impressive… Also my fault for all that husky ass breathing in the sound test 😂😂
I bought the Pulsae v2 and I'm really enjoying it. It's my first glass mousepad, and I got used to the texture easily. In fact, it greatly improved my aim right from the start. I 100% recommend it.
I’m kinda new to glass mousepads and was wondering how the superglide compares to the skypad 3.0. I was also wondering your personal favorite mouseskates to use for glass pads.
The first superglide is literally a better version of the skypad 3.0 same speed just a smoother and more consistent glide imo with a better backing so it won’t move on your desk The superglide 2 is similar in a lot of ways but slight slower and a lot more smoother it’s gonna have a bit more of a control feeling to it The 3.0 is fun and very fast but flex’s sometimes because of the 4 corner design My personal fav for skates are the TJX Plastix dots for more control or the yanzi dots for a balanced smooth experience obsidian airs is decent as well
since its thinner, does it feel susceptible to flexing? I'm confident when laying it on the desk, there's obviously no flex. I like to move and clear out my desk a lot. Feel like due to its thin nature if it feels like its easy to see it bend when not laid flat or something
very sturdy haven’t noticed and flexing or warping so far. I recently moved and had to redo my whole setup no issues with the pad at all during that process
how convenient does the pad feel when transporting? I like to clear my desk out A LOT. SP004 is 7.48lbs and saw on Amazon the SuperGlide V2 is 2.44 lbs. Does it feel remarkably convenient to take off desk and place back on?
Very smooth on skin I have the same issue with the v1 and other glass pads but this one handles sweat and overall skin contact alot better than I was expecting. Although I highly recommend using a sleeve still for optimal experience.
all glass pads are going to have this issue for most people especially in humid temperatures. One of the only downsides to glass pads is that you usually need to wear a sleeve. I use the pulsar sleeves. At first it kind of sucked but now I cant even tell Im wearing them
Based on hearsay, Glsswrks is the best glass pad to use w/o a sleeve but yeah, they have a major stock issues and bs limited drops. I'll wait for the next time they have something to sell to put it that way and see for myself. I had Skypad 2.0 and 3.0 so far but the necessity to wear a sleeve everytime you want to play, the dust issues and your palm sticking to it even if you wear a sleeve is a massive deal breaker. And both my Skypads were bent because of the silly corner feets they use. Granted, palm long sleeve and dot skates would mitigate most issues but even if i settle on dot skates, i'd never again wear palm long sleeve tbf. It just makes gripping your mouse so disturbingly weird.
I own a Polarity (SG V1 Pad) and a RED XL V1 (Brand New Fresh Order). For whatever reason, the 2 are different in speed. Polarity feels faster than Red XL V1. I even purchased another Red XL V1 just to see if there was any variance, and both Red XL V1s have the exact same glide. Its a minute subtle difference in speed difference but its there. Only thing I couldn't do is obviously purchase another Polarity pad to test the difference there.
That’s another thing I seen about the v1 some people reported having hella inconsistencies between different copies me personally I never had the issue but that is something pulsar wanted to address they mentioned in a tweet for the v2 a while back before release. I’ll probably end up buying a different color once in stock on Amazon to do some testing
i was hoping someone would bring out a 50x50cm pad in glass. i dont even need it as a pad but just to cover up the inconsistencies(it's some acacia slab 5cm thick) on my Filipino jungle desk, so i can use my other 50x50cm cloth squares on it without this annoying gap between the pad and the edge of the table. this gap is annoying because the friction isnt the same and also because of the height. if the pad is so large that i can push it all the way up to the edge of the table it would solve both of these issues. currently, i am using either a hien or AC 2 pro(basically the same as the hien lol) on top of my v1 pulsar glass pad. the pad is flush with the edge of the table and i use my elbow as pivot. sadly that doesnt leave a lot of room for vertical adjustments. while the thinness of the v2 would certainly help with that, you would still feel compared to a bigger square. great review and sorry for the rant lol :D
This might be one of those rare things aliexpress might have 🤔 cause I seen listings over there all the time for “cloned” glass pads made for custom order and things like that

@@hitkhu actually yes! It’s a very light pad easy to transport
How different is the feeling on the skin compared to the SG V1?
When I used V1, it stuck to my skin too much and was difficult to use...

I'd be interested in getting one, but shipping alone is 28.19%. I'll see when Microcenter or Amazon stocks these.
Yep shipping is craaaaazy highly recommend waiting till in stock at other retailers
