India is an emerging power… we are on track unless Indians from within open the gates as was the case of all losing sides in the Subcontinental conflicts since the time of the epics….

India is an emerging economy; I accept it. I am not sure about India as an emerging power. Jaishankar in all his addresses tells us how he outsmarted others because he understands how other countries think. But I wonder if India would come out winner if India faces raw power, such as one by China. Chandragupta won by raw power and also by Chanakya diplomacy.

@@sanjaygattani6577 Never was a Congress-walla. What I worry is too much publicity on how Jaishankar is giving one upmanship to the West. When China encroaches India (it will as it did in 1962) India will have to call for help. Russia will not help (remember 1962- consult Google). Raw power deterrent will come from USA, from nowhere else.
