Thanks Kirsty, for all your Aussie advice on cloth nappies!! My lovely friend, who is like a daughter to me, is at last , at 41, pregnant after 9 IVF Trails ! So, we are both as ecxited as I never thought one can be!! We have been hunting cloth nappies, and almost settled on the Alvanappies fro Nappy Box in Melbourne. do you have any insight into those?? I am making as much items as possible - like cloth wipes and liners and burpcloths,. I have plenty of fleecy bamboo, Organic Cotton fleesce and Microfleece which will be turned into inserts as soon as I decide on how many layers of each fabric to put into the inserts. I would dearly love to have some Hemp faric to use as well, but wow!! at $37 per meter, I am a bit hesitant. Your video is of great helpto us, and I certainly enjoyed your clear and friendly way of explaining all these things!! Also like your lovely dog!! Any advice from you will be helpful, but certainly about the Alva nappies we are on the verge to purchasing, but will await your advice!! Thanks again! God bless you and baby, and Daddy too!!

I’m in Australia and use bare and boho too, but find they are leaking for me 😢 my boy is 16 months (so maybe his wees are just really big?) I use 2 inserts on top of each other, hemp on bottom and bamboo on top. But still I get leaks out the legs, and sometimes the top front. Poos never escape though thankfully! Wondering how old your bub was in this video? And when did you start using 2 inserts? Also how often do you change the nappies? I try to leave it 3 hrs but often leaks start happening around 2.5hrs 🥲
Well, unfortunately we didn’t get to start at newborn as we had a bit of a rocky start with Harper having jaundice and then getting diagnosed with hip dysplasia! But I would recommend 25ish!
