Both Scharnhorst and her sister Gneisenau were stationed at Brest at the time of your arrival following Operation Berlin. The RAF also launched multiple strikes against them in July so you got lucky with your arrival.
23:32 Yep, I do believe you're right that those are Scharnhorst and Gneisenau - The two triple turrets up front are pretty tell-tale, AFAIK :) EDIT: Didn't know the bit about the masts - Now I can tell them apart from one another, too =D
I know seeing german battleships is rare, but I don't think the port authorities are going to appreciate getting so distracted that you nearly collided with another U-boat. ^^ It's nice to see the game trying to be "historically accurate" as much as possible, with small details like the location of particular warships at different times. Wonder if you would have seen the Blücher getting pummeled by Oslo's defenses if your submarine had followed the invasion force aiming at Norway's capital...
@Tonci87 You keep getting lucky with these plane attacks, bud, but I feel like it's only a matter of time until that luck runs out 😕 I really, REALLY feel like you should be crash-diving the *second* one of the watch calls out a plane, and set aside identifying the location and intent of the plane until AFTER your ship is submerged. I feel like your compulsion to do those two things BEFORE diving will end up getting you a bomb or a depth charge dropped on your boat's foredeck for your trouble 😞
Within the year planes like that will have radar and six months later ships will be able to pick up your radio waves, then we will see how long your ludicrous luck holds out.
Think you could make lore reasons to get equipment early in the campaign? As if you complained to Donitz about the aircraft situation and he just so happened to be needing a testbed of a commander to test new equipment and figure out tactics to use the equipment?

I think I speak for the whole crew when I say "I hope Breast lives up to its name" 😂

German Type VII, German crew and Dutch Sub Captain. The optimal combination. Follow you anywhere, Sir! 🏴☠
If you’re talking about Tonci he’s actually Croatian.
I'm fairly certain he's german 😅

Aircraft successes against U-Boats took place in 1942 and later. In 1939-1941 only two U-boats were sunk by aircraft (31 in 1942 alone).
I liked three times! Keep on uploading!
I wish ubi allocated further resources to SH series instead of mass producing AC games.
lovely series
blücher was sunk april 9 1940 in droebak sound during the invasion of norway
The music the greets you in Brest it's "La Ritirata" a march/song of the Regia marina, italian navy ^ ^

Home, sweet home
And, of course, the one in St Nazaire
Very lucky that planes dont just drop at the first pass in this game.

Why was the band at the dock playing a Italian naval march?
What controls your own promotion's and award's?
Is the title wrong? should be 84 right?
Always a joy to see another episode for this exceptional series drop ❤👌🫡🍻
