I struggle with buyer's remorse in that I feel guilty for having so many dolls:
1) More Clutter
2) The bigger my collection gets the less I appreciate individual dolls
3) There's a lot of people financially struggling and I'm spending money non-essentials 😟
But there's so many beautiful dolls and I LOVE collecting and doll hunting!

Omg monster high on clearance! We never see those sort of prices here in England. The cheapest you will see is say £29.99 down to £26.99 on the least popular dolls only! My jaw dropped when I saw 9 dollars! 😮
Scare-a-Dise Clawdeen is no joke one of my favorite dolls ever. Her hair is PERFECTION. I washed it and the texture is so good that it finger curls. Literally it's perfect and she's gorgeous and so '90s. I'm obsessed with her. 20/10 would recommend for anyone who didn't get her.
Stop making me feel like I have to go to walmart! Haha those prices are ridiculously cheap and now I know where I'm going after work today

Unfortunately for me, I get the opposite of remorse. I buy a doll "just for the clothes" and then love the whole doll and want more 😅
Your walmart has pretty good sales. In my walmarts RH costume ball is still $27, MH is $17 and the fidget dolls are $13. I'll have to make my rounds again to see if anything has been further reduced but these people are stingy with their clearances.
The 18" with the onesie is so cute, I think we need onesies for fashion dolls.
I do have buyer's remorse from time to time but i've gotten way better. Mostly because now I only buy dolls at sale prices rather than full price.
When G3 Toralei came out I bought her at full price because she was a walmart exclusive. She sat there unopened for a few days and then I went back to return her because of remorse (but look now she's on clearance).
I WISH we have doll thrift stores here in the uk... but we just have small charity shops with rarely any dolls ever

Yes...I change my mind on dolls a few times. Not so much at a store, but Amazon. I'll have it in my cart, then take it back out, cause I want another doll more.

Yes!!! Especially with barbie. I have definitely put that exact barbie back in favor of rainbow/shadow high or monster high lol. In this case I would have been like barbie who? and grabbed that Poppy!
We haven't had Monster High stock since last summer. They aren't even stocking them, and the last time any of the G3 dolls were there, one person had ALL 25 in their cart!
That poppy was such a find even at full price. I hope you got it!
I didn't. But I also went to a couple other stores a day later for other things and saw they had her as well, so I guess she's just coming back in stock. I ended up not getting her because I was on a budget and decided to get the new Lenore Loomington doll instead
Hi Chad love I just love your content you post. You always make me smile. I recently too went doll hunting and another U-tuber gave me a tip for 🎯. When you are shopping in store scan barcode it will show you the cheaper price. Save it and show it to cashier when checking out and they will honor it. That 🌈 Poppy was $14 less then shelf price. I hope I explained it right. So you can get a new doll cheaper.😊

Are you planning on filming any of the process of going through your collection and deciding what to keep or let go? I think that would be a really interesting and fun video! And also it would be helpful for collectors who have a hard time letting any of their dolls go (like myself).
I was considering it. I think I was leaning away from doing that only because filming anything makes the whole process two to three times longer, and I just wanted it to be done and over with... That said, I feel like I've done the bulk of it at this point, but I still have some stuff to do, and since I'm planning on selling a lot of my dolls at a yard sale, between the organizing I still have to do and the yard sale itself. I think I have enough content to make a video for. I don't know. We'll have to see 😋

I do the same for my rainbow high collection! I get the one I want the most first of each collection, then I look at my second and third faves :D
Dude, you should've checked Target website & if Poppy said sale price there, you brought Poppy up t9 cashier & tell them that. I did that with Jade. Website said she was $23, but the shelf at store said $35. But I told cashier & he matched the $23.

I went doll shopping at 🎯 last week and I happened to watch another TH-camr who told me the same thing. I got several new dolls even cheaper then their sales price I think I paid less then $40 for 4 brand new dolls
My friend went to our Walmart and found some of the RH masquerade dolls for $5 each. She got me and her daughter a few and a Torilei for$5. I went and they had the RH shoes and purses for 75 cents each so I got a full case of each. It was like $41 total. I still didn't get all the choices. There were some doubles but I still thought it was pretty good since I had not bought any at all before. My Walmart doesn't usually have those kinds of deals .

Hi Chad! I loved going on your shopping trip with you! I don’t often have buyer’s remorse, but I have regretted not buying something when I’ve seen it. For instance, it took me several trips to different Target stores to find RH Poppy last year. I ended up finding her when I wasn’t really planning on buying & she was full price. I got her anyway! 😂 Now that RH has discontinued these more detailed dolls, I would buy any that you love because when they’re gone there won’t be any more.
Have you ever priced matched or looked at the prices on the app or scan them in the alise scanner? I feel like you'll find more deals ❤
I miss Sacramento/Roseville thrifting.I moved to Iowa and love it here but small town and for my thrifting days I have to travel hrs to hit a city.But I'm coming back to Sac in a couple weeks and will thrift every day.Enjoyed looking out your window and knowing exactly where you were.I lived in Antelope.The Renewal Thrift store has actually been there for years.Always fun to find a new store.Enjoy your videos

Poppy was my trail for that line and I got her on sale for 23.50 ish.I was pure luck that the order went through on targets site she kept selling out.
I try to follow the Marie Kondo type method of what makes me feel like something is for me. My tummy will relax all the way with something I want, and won’t with something I won’t end up wanting to keep.
The $11 price is amazing, I would get more than one at that price. I got Lola for $25...I have a bit of remorse getting that so right away. My Walmart has a full box of shoes for $3 each, I'm steadily collecting those.
You get so very excited when shopping for dolls! You deserve to NOT have buyers remorse.

That's where I always see them. Walmart only carries 1 or 2 mostly just 1. Target has 3.. Amazon has all of them

hey chad I completely understand your experience with buyers remorse lol but to be honest, I'd say keep the barbie became the majority of times barbies are difficult to find at a decent price once sold out. especially barbie the movie dolls.
Clearance prices in the US are crazy. I would snatch that Clawdeen and the curly costume ball SH in no time. So cheap ! I love Eliza McFee too :)

I actually did get the Monster High Toreli for $9 at Walmart as well as Clawdeen for $12. I have 2 of the Fidgie Friend. I think they are cool because I am Autistic and it is a fidget toy. I didn't care for the fact that their face sculpts didn't vary though. I also got 2 Shadow High dolls for $7 each at the same time at Walmart I got Berrie Skies and Pinkie James. My favorite dolls art BJD dolls though. I especially love Popovy Sister Dolls. They are gorgeous.
I’m literally about to return a book I bought because of buyer’s remorse, I’m only returning it because I have a friend willing to sell me a specific LPS I’ve wanted for years sooo maybe I’ll go back and buy the book later. (It’s a Victorian sticker book that I bought for journaling)

I really love those dolls and while it is for me, it is definitely not for everyone and that’s okay! I’m just glad that you saw them and that they are on clearance for $13! I’m sure Fairie Garden (the mushroom fairy doll) will be on sale soon at $13 if you give it time! Btw, I love your videos so much!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The 18" ILY dolls are so tempting! I already have so many dolls though, I can't make space for a big doll like that. Also my boyfriend gets creeped out by big dolls.🤣

The Walmart I go to would put dolls on clearance online but don't advertise it in store and i can't price check since they took the price checkers out

This used to happen to me with plushies though. CONSTANTLY.
i got the roller blade barbie at a thrift store the orang itjust did not have the knee pads or roller blades i only pad a 1.00 for it and 2 other barbies
Oh no!!! I’m just watching this video. Idk when you recorded this but those Rainbow High Runway dolls were $17.99 like 2weeks ago at Target. Maybe it was only online without signage in store. I didn’t have a car so had to Instacart it. I wanted Sunny but they didn’t have her. The shopper sent me a pic of all the dolls available. They had a Poppy too but I paid full price for her already, so I got Amaya. But Walmart and Amazon had them all at $17.99 for a few days too… now I have everybody but Ruby and Jade. I wasn’t planing on getting any😂 I only get buyers remorse when I pay full price but I don’t regret grabbing Poppy when I did. It was too risking too leave her.

I found yesterday at a thrift store in my town a Space astronaut Barbie for $35 she is in the blue and white astronaut outfit i can't remember if she was wearing the boots and the gloves she has the helmet her hair is cut i think the doll does have short hair to begin with but this doll has choppy hair is that a fair price

Release dates for new dolls I see on Instagram (or sometimes Facebook or TH-cam) I find out from other collectors sharing
I hope you see this Chad Marvelous I have asked a few TH-camr doll collectors , i have a cat named Tiger he is 1 years old well he slept on my 2 piled on top of each other , long story short he jumped down off of the top box full of my Barbies and when the box fell over it landed on my Holiday Hostess Barbie and now under her head her neck has 2 bent crack pueces of plastic still hanging from the neck what should I do to fix her 1995 doll I bought them

Hi..I bought a doll in a box from 1992. I unpacked ofc. She is beautifful but she smells like being to long in the attic abd I cant get it away.
Sometimes various things work, depends on how scent sensitive you are on your choices.
Dryer sheets work great at attic smell, even in books, (just put the doll in a closed container with the dryer sheet). Another thing that works is kitty litter (put the doll in a gauze mesh bag and then in kitty litter). Or wash the doll with dawn dishwashing liquid, or try washing with baking soda. Wash the hair and clothes several times. The clothes and shoes might benefit from a rinse in water with a dash of vinegar.
