Chasing the Historic January 2023 Iowa Tornado

On January 16, 2023 a supercell produced a large tornado near Williamsburg, Iowa. This #tornado is the earliest on record in a calendar year in the state of #Iowa, and the first tornado warning ever issued in a month of January by the National Weather Service was issued this day.

The tornado in the Cedar Rapids area that activated the sirens and the alert on of my phone woke me up 😂 I was right at the point off falling asleep and my phone went off, my weather radio would go off 2 other times but my family was fine
