- Traxxas Trx4m Trailer Review and field test waiting for the release of the trx4m Traxxas released the accessories a week early so I picked up the trailer to try out its not bad very basic but work's filmed with my insta360 go 2 and edited with powerdirector pro

Very nice test Brent! A fold down tailgate would’ve been nice, but Traxxas putting bearings in there was a good move!

I'm working on making a custom rig trailer for the TRX4M. It's gonna be assembled with stock SCX24 screws and the tongue kinda just snaps on to the ball.
Great presentation Brent. It might be just plastic. But it's plastic which can be customized very easy. And it looks really good😉
Never mind that the trailer don't line up to th Unimog. This is exactly what we see here, when they tow car trailers (different hitches than trucks). Unimogs often have both at the rear.
And never mind there's no suspension. Okay it dependes on the load. Light or nothing it would be better without it, heavy might ask for a suspension. The main thing is the trailer has just to follow and not to jump around🤔
Deer has no fear, and that's what gets them into trouble😉
It works, I bet you can mod it up to run perfect.

Thanks for the honest assessment. Another model that looks good online, but it's better if you see it with your own eyes in the hobbyshop (or behind a friend's truck) before you spend 40 bucks CAD.

That was crazy to see that deer pop out like that! Wow! Neat little trailer, $30 isn't too bad I guess. I'm sure it can be painted and detailed to look a lot better too!

It does not look like 30 dollars worth, where they have the mounts for post or sides made me think are they going to have a second part later on. I think they might have one with the wooden sides or canvas.

I mean if Tamiya made it they would have charge you an extra $10 just for the bearings!!! LOL I am sure there will be a ton of stuff done with these and $30 isn't bad for a scale accessory. Maybe it will cause a few more to pop up as well!

I watch Tomley RC, when I'm not glued to the screen watching Adventure Time RC. One comment Phil from Tomley frequently receives is: "Dude, why are you resting cheap Chinese crap? What about good quality brands, like Traxxas?"
Traxxas make some very high quality products, but it seems to me that they could have tried a little harder when designing this trailer. It has no suspension and doesn't even remain reliably attached to the tow vehicle!
Frankly, I could make something better using the rear body and an axle from a dirt-cheap RTR WPL M35. At least it would have leaf springs...
I like Traxxas - I love my Slash - but this is really a little disappointing for $30.

And it’s sad they don’t even make any aftermarket support for the Traxxas stampede 4 x 4 I can’t even put metal bumpers on it or aluminum no nothing
They make all the upgrades for the most popular models like the slash and the rustler what have you
Your not disappointing me lol I just wanted to get it to review it its OK I would rather just 3d print one
