Attended Porus Infant and Porus Primary schools and shopped at the market and Barnett’s Emporium. One of the highlights of my life was seeing Norman Washington Manley in the market. So I join with others in expressing disappointment in Porus’s development. It still holds a special memory in my life. Signature achievement: Amorelle Morrison winning National Spelling Bee Champs. Great people came/come from Porus.

Fire this place has always looked this way sorry to say , as a child growing up in Mandeville and having to travel through there to kgn before the highway was built looks the same and worse no better .
I'm a bit disappointed in the slow development of Porus...I don't know if it is by design or neglect. But a place like Porus with so much history should have better infrastructure.

😂 ok calm down I don't think he meant anything bad by it. Not many people know Porus. I grew up there un the 90's. Visited in 2018 and was saddened by no progress. Jamaican government really don't give any thought to large and small towns that had a hand in assisting satellite larger towns. Sad 😔

YES, great people come from Porus, and i went to the Infant school before being shipped off to England. in the USA now.
