Whats up Peck? I just stumbled on to your channel. I have watched a few of your videos. I have to say, I am very impressed! You have a great personality and you pay super close attention to detail. Your set ups have been flawless. Very elegant! And of course, your DJ skills are on point. Congratulations bro! You are the type of DJ that others should aspire to be. Keep up the great work!
Do you think 4 of these could give ambient lighting to a small acoustic band. I plan on placing them on the speakers with the swivel mount to gain some height and point them at the band. For those backyard gigs where they place us in the dark.
Great Video and outstanding performances. I was wondering what you were using to control your lights? Are you using an ipad and software or are you using a stand-alone controller. Thanks again.
Thanks. I’m using the ape labs connect here with the ape labs app on my iPad. I separated the lights in to group in order to get some variation in my light show and presentation
@@lavishlifedjs ok ok but you should put songs like u doing now.. because you have very good costumes... and entertain me Just helping my daughter she's still 9years old very talented.. Sweden we don't have a so much show.. mostly she uses 2 play kids disco and outdoor party... anyway I love her success me and my daughter has been dj just 1 years and 8 months now ... hope you're have a kids learn them as you can peace brother 🔥💪💪🙌🍻🍻
Once again another great video! What is the purpose of the Ape labs connect Versus using the RF remote control I’ve never had any issues with the remote and just wondering what the benefit is and if it’s worth the investment? On a sidenote I have the Maxis, the coins, the sticks and the cans.
Thanks. I like the remote as well but I found it was a little limited when it came to immediate and instant control. If I wanted a specific color I would have to toggle through the colors with the remote. With the App, it’s instant. I also vary my light show throughout the night to avoid fatigue. There are 2 different light shows with the app, (1) with the mics from all the lights and (2) with the app’s mic. I can also see what modes, programs I’ve selected on the app allowing for some visual feedback. More important, I can only update my lights if I have the app. So to get those new colors, I needed the connect. I’m looking into maybe acquiring a few stick XL myself 🤞🏾
I usually only use the remote too, but You can switch colors with the touch of a button rather than scroll through to your selected color. You can also update the firmware so the V1 & V2 lights are the same color when using the remote.
The connect brings in DMX and can control other similar par lights from other companies. So if you already have up lights, you may be able to add the apelabs for their unique look and sound active features around the dance floor and use your existing for the rest of the room.
mind if I ask what is the total height of your custom booth set up? also looked into the totems but might be too talk from the get go for my application
Thank you 🙏🏾 I keep ‘‘em on music mode during formalities, dinner and have the mids at -3db… once we get to the open dance, I switch to club mode and bump my subs up +3 db
Are you still using the Ape Labs Maxis as uplighting? They seem a little expensive. Is there a good place to buy them? Do you recommend them over the Rockville RF4? If you are using other uplights please share.
Definitely still enjoying them...If I had to do it again today, I would consider the BOTH IR4s which are just as small, can be controlled via DMX and about 1/4 of the price...with that stated, nothing has come close to matching Ape Labs native Musiqmode
I love your videos they are very entertaining, I would love to know just for curiosity until what time are you playing music? I mean normally, I know that depends of the wedding schedule, but normally. Thanks you and keep this way.
Thank you. 🙏🏾 Funny that you asked. I always play until the end. When I am done, the venue breaks down the space. That’s what everyone does as far as I know. And I am out of there within 20mins max. But for this particular wedding the caterer insisted I stop the music 30mins before the end time so that he can go home early. 🤯 I still played until the time I was hired to play. The guys cleaned up while the music was playing. I always work as a team with the other vendors but I am not going to stop the music early for anyone while the guests are still on the dance floor unless the bride and groom wants me too.
Great gig my brother! The vibe was live and you killed it. The set up is stellar, and it totally matched the décor. Where did you get those things for your cords. I'd rather use those than all of my gaffer tape lol. Appreciate your channel and all of your content. DJ Kel is in the building. Keep spinning and winning. #Salute

I hate totems, leave them on the reservation

Camera man sucks! He barely even show us the party, mostly just the dj.
Definitely a nice set up though.
Truth is the camera (wo)man is in love with the Dj...in addition, there were kids in the crowd...we didn't think it was appropriate to showcase kids
