I hope you enjoyed watching this Betta Tank Build - Crispy the betta fish is pretty happy with his new digs!
This is what I considered to be a budget build - I re-used older hardscape and plant trimmings.
PRICE GUIDE OF BUILD:
$55 - 20L Cube Tank
$20 - 2x stems of Anubias
$30 - Crispy the Betta Fish
Estimated value of hardscape - $85
PLANTS USED IN THE BUILD
Terrestrial plants:
- Spider Plant
- Lucky bamboo
- Pothos
Aquatic plants:
- Java Fern
- Anubias
- Limnophila
- Frogbit - บันเทิง

Achei seus aquarios lindissimos.
Small advice with the anubias, try not to plant the rhiozome in the substrate because it might rot, other than that the tank looks really nice, hope everything works out.

That also is the reason your Java fern hasn't taken off. The rhizome shouldn't be buried either.

Don't get me wrong there are definitely stores in Australia where theyre kept in cups 😪 I've been lucky to find a store that takes great care of their fish and now they're my go-to!

Theres an albino bristlenose in there! He's about 2 years old now and has grown half an inch in that time. We have a bigger tank that they go into when they outgrow the nano tanks!

It’s not a Java fern, looks more like a type of echinodorus. Has a root mass rather than rhizome

@@bile897oh no sorry to hear! This could be swim bladder or bloat? Try feeding them smaller portions of food, and fasting them for one day a week. I feed 5-6 small betta pellets a day and then skip feeding them on Saturdays. Good luck!!

Your fulling too much water in the tank for betta fishes are jumpers plenty time's my betta's jump out
Oh no sorry to hear that! I find with a combination of long fin bettas + floating plants + 1inch low water level, means I've never had a jumper yet. I really appreciate the feedback!
