- In this walking video: we are at one of most cold and perhaps the most modern city of Turkey. "Eskişehir" known as an university town, Eskisehir Technical University, Eskişehir Osmangazi University and Anadolu University (which has one of the largest student enrollments in the world) are based in Eskişehir.
The name Eskişehir literally means "Old City" in Turkish.

i have been there since 5 years ago , i love eskisehir , the best ever city that i lived for almost 2 years , nice friendly people that they love tourist and respect them , i really have a nostalgic feelings about that and honestly i felt like more than my homeland , very modern alongside traditional and historic city with special cultural feature mixed with any western and eastern taste and night city spescially in barlar sokak make this city amazing . as far as i know people in other turkish city called eskisehir as a venice in italy but thay said '''' turkish little venice ''''

First! Never heard of this city...but I am fascinated. I really didn't think anywhere in Turkey would still be snowing this time of the year.
East of Istanbul is equal to Western Russia in winter. Istanbul is equal to a western europe city in terms of winter harshness.
Arya Yavz and Erzurum, Kars or Sivas is equal to Siberia in winter

It snows a lot in Turkey especially in parts where there is no seacoast. Some towns in eastern turkey is way colder than any scandinavian capital with 5-6 months of winter

@@spiderman-eq8xe Turkey is not a european country. We're Anatolian people our ancestors came to Anadolu (Anatolia) from central asian steps so our asian cultural elements are still strong. There are also Muslim europeans like Bosnians, Albanians and Pomaks (muslim slavic people)
