Thanks for watching. Did you enjoy the video? Let me know if you want more like this. What is the biggest 'low level disruption' problem you face in your classroom? Got any additional classroom management strategies for dealing with low level disruption? Comment below...

Also, I must admit...in my teaching, I very often respond to low level disruptions in a disruptive, public manner (mostly ineffective). So I was sheepishly chuckling to myself when you mentioned that at the beginning. I'm trying to be more self aware now.

Wow thanks for ALL of your videos I have implemented all of your management strategies in my classes and the changes in and out of the classroom for me and the students is just mind blowing. I find these strategies to be the most helpful that I have looked for! You are amazing thank you once again!!!

Thanks for reinforcing the proximity strategy, Rob. It works great. I learnt this when i was doing my Sp Ed course.

Very well said. Teachers need to take into account that by confronting the misbehaved child in front of others or during a lesson just adds to the problem. I simply tap on the desk or redirect the student.

Nice video. I was really hesitant to watch this as I thought it'd be Ill informed but this is really good, high quality behaviour practice. I sometimes find it very difficult to do these things even though I am very aware of them. I suppose it'll just take more practise!

I’m so grateful for your videos! I was recently placed in charge of teaching a theatre-focused after school program. Your classroom management strategies helped me immensely and gave me the confidence I needed to create a fun, yet productive environment :) Thank you thank you!!

It will be hard to do this in September without calling across the room due to covid distancing

I'm Polish, teacher of PE. Sorry for language mistakes. My bigest problem is that if I something eksplain they are not focus and dont undestand rules of game. I stop for eksplain again and this is boring for some and they speak each other. Of course I gradualy warn but process of teaching is not efficiant becose of this.
