Hi Poola, congrats on your new Hangisis! They are so fab and I think a dressy flat like the Hangisi is totally appropriate to wear to events! As the owner of three pairs of Hangisi heels, I would recommend you to get them soled at the cobbler to prolong the lifespan of the satin fabric. It looks like they already have some wear and tear on the satin on the point of the toe box - a rubber sole will prevent the satin from touching the ground and thus preventing further wear on the fabric 😇
I think preloved luxury shoes are the way to go. They don’t hold value whatsoever. The main think is that they were worn minimally. You are inspiring me to get a pair too😊
I totally agree and I've made amazing deals wit pre-owned shoes! My first fancy event is in a few weeks and then I'll know if these live up to the hype :DD
