Excellent video! Recipe was easy to follow, appreciate the fast forward and plan on trying your biscotti! I make a variety of biscotti all year- I freeze some, gift some and of course have it with coffee or tea. Many thanks! 🌻
Thanks so much for your kind words! ❤ I'm new to posting videos...and still in the learning process. I have many more wonderful recipes I'd like to share.☺
These biscotti's look great by Maria. Its about the same way my mom an immigrant from Reggio Calabria made. The biscotii's did not crumble and were firm like Maria's! Anthony Joseph Lucchese
I make anisetti biscotti with walnuts. The recipe I obtained is over 100 years old. It was my friends grandmothers recipe. Her recipe calls for anise seeds and anise oil and also 2 sticks butter. The olive oil you use sounds delicious. Can you taste the olive oil? Another great recipe to try. Thanks
@@mucktao1 Wow, that sounds really good! I've come across some recipes that use almonds. I use extra virgin olive oil and you don't taste it. The biscotti are delicious. I do hope you give the recipe a try. Thanks for watching, and for your comment.❤
@@oneitalia2312 This recipe never called for salt and since they're so delicious I've never added it. However you are correct...it is common for biscotti recipes to require some salt. Thanks so much for watching and commenting. ❤
This recipe is the traditional plain Annisette biscotti, but adding raisins or nuts sounds very delicious! I will have to give that a try. Thank you for the suggestion!❤
This is a lovely straight-foreword recipe. I do wish you had broken a biscotti at the end so I could have seen what kind of texture these are intended to be. Are they the break your teeth kind of biscotti texture or the anise toast biscotti texture or something else?
Thanks for your comment. Sorry, I didn't do that in some of my earlier videos. These biscotti are not the break your teeth kind, and can be eaten without dipping. They really are delicious. Hope you give the recipe a try.❤😊
