Hey :-) I'm kinnetik, just want to say thanks for the shout out. I'm really glad you're liking the funfair buildings I've been making, they look very much at home in this park. Doing this style has been a really helpful way for me to learn the game and try to understand scale. I've got another concession stand and a couple flat rides in the works, as well as a new project centered around a mining company. Can't wait to see where this series goes, I really appreciate your videos and everything I've learned from them.
I like the idea of maybe having a railroad in the park. Like Disneyland or Magic Kingdom you can use it as a border for your park, while also being able to incorporate it into some themed rides you have now or might have planned in the future.
Just found your vids. I love the idea of a park going & changing through the ages. I need to watch episodes 1 to 3 now. I also got Inspirations for my own park, tx. Greets from Germany 😊
I like the idea of a gas station. The old late 70’s gas stations looked really cool. If you work of some reference pics you could come up with a great build. Also overhang your roofs, don’t stop them at the walls. Think about support posts around the building and try to inset some of your windows.
In the last episode of this era, it'd be neat to see you go over some of the suggestion-based tweaks you've made that you might've missed covering in these earlier episodes. I, for one, am curious to see which of the food suggestions you added to the Shamrock Cafe. As for final suggestions... Have you done a candy shop? Candy/soda shop is a must from the era. Caramels, taffy, cotton candy, lollipops, rock candy, bubblegum, sodapop in every flavor under the sun, rootbeer floats... All wrapped up in that oh-so-classic barbershop aesthetic.
Yes 💯! Everyone has come up with some amazing ideas and I want to show them off. I have something like a candy shop near Grand One with a bright pink building; but I really like the idea of a classic barber shop aesthetic! Gonna have to look up some reference photos and add something like that 👍
Park looks great! I think you could use a few more planters to break up the paths though. Maybe connect the path near the amphitheater to the back of the park as well?
I was curious so looked it up. This particular building that I referenced is from North Carolina. But now that you mentioned Portillos, I have to get some haha Cake shake here I come!

Hey glad you are watching the series! Your buildings are perfect for this project so I'm glad you're continuing to make new builds!
i think an old town hall/city hall type of building for the historical part would fit the park nice
Mid America Amphitheater definitely needs a big sponsor in future years to fund an expansion!
I love the continuous mention of cedar point. I grew up driving to Sandusky all the time. Am now 25 so really brings me back!

Yay! You added the wave swinger.

I am loving this series you are totally inspiring me for my parks

Thanks for the feedback and building tips!
YESSSSS!!! MY BOATS ARE BECOMING CONTAGIOUS!
They are a great workshop item!
Oh the vintage car ride is the best ❤
another fun episode, love following this parks history this way, keep em coming 🙂
For a medium/large building in the historical area you should definitely add a church. I feel like it would fit and most areas had church’s.

Really nice park ! Looks authentic :)
Park looks great!

Great suggestions! I agree we need some more planters to break up some of the wide pathways 👍
You should build a in-house wooden roller coaster like the beast at kings island for next year 1979
Are you not from the Chicago area? The Dog House may be referring to the Original Portillo's.
I was curious so looked it up. This particular building that I referenced is from North Carolina. But now that you mentioned Portillos, I have to get some haha Cake shake here I come!
Hey Drew I wanted to ask if you were inspired by Holzpark & Later Nerdchacho's Royal Myle as I love series like this.
I've never heard of their series but I'll be sure to check it out! I love timeline parks as well 😁
@@BeyondDrewTV I would 100% recommend. Holzpark got ended due to issues with the file but Royal Myle was completed
