I was one month away from 16 years old and I became an LA Lakers fan during the 1965-66 season. To this day, this was the worst loss as a fan I ever experienced. I could not sleep that night and remember awakening several times thinking I just experienced a bad dream. Lesson learned over the years - in time I came to realize the Lakers did not have much outside of Chamberlain, West, and Baylor; and probably the NY Knicks and a healthy Baltimore Bullets team would have beaten the Lakers that year.
The worst decision in nba history was for Jerry west to be named finals mvp
He deserved it
No the worst decision was not putting Chamberlain back in the game…that and only that kept the Lakers from finally beating Boston

I love how broadcasting and the game was back then..no commercials nor annoying advertisements on the court nor on jerseys.
Great postgame interviewing. Red’s beside himself that he denied Jack Kent Cooke’s balloons from being released from the rafters.
With the information of that game, this was like the way back VH1’s “Pop-Up Videos”.
A certified hood classicss
At least the Lakers should be happy that They have The Mvp on there side.
Jerry west the goat only player to win mvp on losing team
The video itself would have been fine. Then we had the biased commentary from an obvious Boston fan.
Basketball was being played in 1969 wow!
Nah nothing happened before you were born
Or LeBron.
