    I’m so thankful for your videos, I’m learning so much, I told you before, being a nail tech for more than 20 years, but every time I watch your videos I keep learning, and actually listen what you said during the recording it’s more important to me you let the little tricks come out in your explanations, so again thank you!

      I usually designs as I go. And 90% of my clients let me do whatever I want 😁 of course I know them and I wouldn't put pink on a clients who hates pink. Or designs over the top on clients which are liking elegant nails

    How do you work pricing with your clients when the come for rebalance/in-fill and during service you find that some nails need re-sculpting? Do you discuss this with client or are you/they normally aware before hand?
    I find it really awkward the couple of times this has happened and I’ve not known what to do as far as cost x

    • @dorotapalicka
      @dorotapalicka  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have set prices and they always available for clients as mainly working on regular clients they know my pricing. But if newclient then always say it upfront so they can decide if they can afford it or not

    • @TallulahFoxxx
      @TallulahFoxxx 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dorotapalicka I have the same question ☺️ just to clarify: if a client books a rebalance appointment, but there are some nails that need replaced completely, do you charge *extra* for those on top of the rebalance?
      Example (ignore prices, I’m just making them up lol): rebalance is £40. When the client shows up, 3 nails are too bad to rebalance and they need to be done from scratch. Do you charge extra on top of the £40? Or is it still £40? ☺️ If you DO charge extra for these “repairs”/replacement nails, is it on your price list already or do you just explain it when it happens?

    I do not understand, why do so much work, when soaking off takes only 10 minutes?

    • @dorotapalicka
      @dorotapalicka  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Rebalance takes sane time as new set plus 10min Soaking more time consuming. But that not a problem. Soaking news constantly isn't good. Do you strip a colour off your hair every appointment? Or do you do the roots? Same with nails I do roots only to don't damage the nails 😊

    • @TallulahFoxxx
      @TallulahFoxxx 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you use hard gel, it *can’t* soak off 😌😂 Soak off gels (with the exception of some fibre gels) aren’t strong enough to build long extensions that will last. As Dorota said, soaking off at every appointment (even if it was possible, say, with acrylic) is very damaging to the nail. You’d also have to etch the nail AGAIN, at every appointment - the entire nail is being dehydrated, primed AND scratched up (which thins and thins and thins the nail).
      It’s extra damaging for no real reason. It’s just as fast to use an Efile to take the existing product low, then rebalancing.
