Eh, I've suffered through 8 years of House and only had disappointment at the end, so I'm just expecting something similar (Midge and Lenny - wise, I mean)
Hey the writers could go off the history books and we get the happy Ending he deserved, hopefully with Midge. I love him, he is so funny, hot and incredible. They should 100% date. It would be the best comedy power couple ever.This is some 1st class ship here. It needs to happen for my sanity .

The part "I can't think of anything funny to say - Me neither" is so capturing and important to me since, it would be a miracle if anyone here knew this series, i love "Anne with an E" and in season three they have almost identical phrases:

- I can't think of anything.
- Me neither.

I can't believe I am saying this BUT I think Lenny's death in this show will be so powerful and soul destroying in a good way IF he and Midge become canon leading up to that point. If not, it will be a huge dumpster fire and my shipper heart will be pissed as hell. Their chemistry was undeniable from the pilot! Why is he not in more episodes???
The show is in 1960 now and Lenny Bruce died in 1966. So yeah, I'm guessing he's going to die at a very crucial moment and devastate Midge... and eviscerate all of us.

The point is that being comedians and having something funny to say is a part of who Midge and Lenny are. As well as, in my case, arguing and not coming to an agreement is a part of Anne and Gilbert's relationship, whose dialogue was written earlier.
Really hope they end up together. They have such fantastic chemistry and genuine love for one another.

Is it terribly horrid of me to say that this felt like a goodbye to Lenny. That this night is what Midge will have to look back on because of how tragic his end is? Initially I was more optimistic about the direction they would take them in because his fiancé at the time he died was an up and coming comedienne and shared initials with Midge, but after their episode I’m starting to wonder...
This edit is amazing! Although I do believe a woman and a man can be close friends without being anything more and Rachel and Amy don't want Midge and Lenny to cross that line... I can't help seeing and wanting more. Ep. 5 was best episode of this season!

wow this video is a masterpiece. I love Lenny way too much, I'll be heartbroken sooner or later
since his VERY first appearance i wished the writers had luke play a Lenny TYPE character but not lenny himself because we all know how that story ends. the same way janes comedian character is a combination of alot of 50s female comics thats what i wanted for Luke because i instantly knew he would become a fan favorite but if he played a REAL person not a fictional character some what based on a real person i knew the writers would be limited on what they could do with him. if only they realized the gem on there hands they had they would of done it and then lukes character and midge would have had a real shot at a happy ending but because they went with Luke playing a REAL PERSON instead of a fictional character thats JUST similar to that iconic comedian they just cant get that happily ever after sigh :( a damn shame

Lenny and Her are the perfect love story, they are the drum roll before a kiss, they are like a painting that captures the perfect moment.
I hope they get to be together before Lenny dies, I hope wheter they end up together or not, they understand they are soulmates.
I swear if they don't end up together....i hope the writers would realize that in the show. They're chemistry is rare and beautiful. And your editing of them is really good, made me smile the whole time.

Lenny Bruce was a real comedian who died in 1966, and the show is set early 1960s.
His appearance on the Steve Allen show from last season happened in 1958 so not long left at all 😵

The writers really know what they are doing. A proper slow burn without any clashing, jealousy or any other trope. The characters just slowly appreciation and care for each other that eventually that turns into something more. They have their goals and they refuse to change each other to achieve them.
