Nacho Nacho Svala didn’t change the language , her song was in English 100% but in songvakeppin you must sing in Icelandic in the semifinal and then in the final you sing with the language you want to go to eurovision

for germany they changed the instrument because it looks so much like titanium

At first I also prefered french version, but after a months of listening I realised that I like english chorus more... And that ending was awesome too 😍 She was my 2nd and stayed 2nd after revamp and show...
Memories come flooding back as the endless wait for next years Eurovision continues. 😫😩 ok, I’m being dramatic but it seems too far away.
Italy was the most negatively affected. Their strength was the lyrics which suited perfectly with the lenght of the song, but of course they had to cut it to 3 mins and well... a very important piece of lyrics had to be erased. Still, he deserved a better position.

something keeps bugging me that the mixing and sound especially for Robin was worse at eurovisiin than melfest
I still feel that shortening Occidentali's Karma really hurt the flow of the song, was still my favourite of the year though.
France, United Kingdom and Switzerland gained the most, Albania and Macedonia ruined their chances.

Switzerland’s revamp ruined it
Switzerland’s revamp was really good, and if it managed 12th with poor staging, it could’ve easily qualified had it been staged better.
Am I the only one that likes France's revamp?
The change for Germany was a good idea... it sounded a bit less like Titanium...
But the should've changed much more!
Also, on Slovenia's entry, you can hear that the key is different.
Estonia's change was definitely a good one, the new/final version sounds much cleaner. Sweden's original lyrics with the f-word were ugly, so that's a good change too.

Why Iceland always change their songs from Icelandic to English? Icelandic is a amazing language I think they could do pretty well when they send a Icelandic song

Oh geez no way. La la la was cringeworthy and awful. I love that they kept switching out the lyrics though, honestly there's no meaning in that, it's just a placeholder in a stupidly plastic pop song. A stupidly plastic pop song that is catchy enough that I sill enjoy singing along to it though!
"Requiem" is the best. I always wonder why they changed Lindita's performance. Her original one was so much better. They should have kept her styling and all. She looks much more beautiful in the original attire and makeup. The one for the semis was rather sad and cheap looking. It ruined her overall appeal and took away the glory of her voice. Meanwhile, I like Spanish, but I may say the original English of Manel's song sounds way better than the final one. The English lyrics just feels more organic for the song, the instruments, the style, than do the Spanish ones. Alma should have been in the Top 5, by the way. :D

Technically Iceland's song wasn't revampt. I'm pretty sure they have to sing in Icelandic in the semi final and then they can choose to sing in English in the final of the national selection.
