I come from Mathura and follow Amar Ujala’s Mathura News section. They have articles about many villages where voters have boycotted the elections due to their displeasure with the government on infrastructure issues. These issues are like not repairing roads, not rebuilding roads after floods, and not de-silting rain water drain channels. They say that neither elected representatives nor the officers have heeded to their complaints. This is very concerning. The government will have to address these issues, else, it can lead to disastrous results.

Election Commission need to introduce some rules regarding electoral franchise to access correct majority party. One such example is - minimum of 80 percent polling necessary in every constituency to access the winning party. Otherwise such constituency should be under President Rule for a period of 2 years for maintaining Law and Order.
