I went to my GP yesterday and said, “this LC is kicking my butt. What am I missing? What is the latest research saying?” He said. I don’t know is about LC. We don’t have Covid in our town.

Oh Erin that is so rubbish!! I am so lucky that I found my PCP in July 2020. She wasn’t my original… my original I had worked with for 9 years, saw monthly for B12 shots, and had shared psychotherapy referral recommendations… and then he gaslit me “Sally it’s a pandemic, we’re all anxious” and then when my third antibody text came back negative “I think it’s safe to say you never had covid”. Some days I think about mailing him a copy of my book 😝 but more importantly where are you located and how do we get you a new GP because there are some good ones out there!!

Hi...this looks extremely fascinating. I am confused though. I did visit your website, but I don't understand the format. It seems you can order a kit for $349, or work directly with you, or listen to therapeutic music, or find a practitioner. Do you do all of that? I am very low income so need a clear idea of how much it would cost to do this. Thank you.

The safe and sound protocol is a 5 hour auditory intervention available through certified practitioners who have purchased a subscription. Yes I am certified and offer it in my practice. You cannot purchase the SSP from my website. You can however purchase an online course I have created to teach folks about their nervous system and how to calm it using Polyvagal strategies. This course does not include the SSP. Yes I also offer recovery coaching which may or may not include the SSP depending on your preference. I have also written a book which definitely doesn’t include the SSP.

My only concern doing the SSP is how long is each session? I wonder if I could go beyond 15 minutes of listening

It is very important to titrate the SSP to your own nervous system so that you don’t overwhelm it. For some people that is as little as 1 or 2 minutes. If you rush you could just throw your nervous system into a months long crash

What's the cost of SSP therapy and how we can access it?

Great question! This varies enormously based on where you’re located and what type of qualification your practitioner has. Do watch this video on what’s important to look for in an SSP practitioner th-cam.com/video/HvQOMo_Z3kE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ho-cOqG4r2HChDKb I do offer it on my practice. More info here www.sallyriggs.com/safe-and-sound-protocol/ Or you can look up providers internationally via the Unyte/ILS website integratedlistening.com/about/locations/

I worked in healthcare in NYC in March 2020. Most of us caught covid from work… but who knows, could also be the subway or literally anywhere. Like the majority of people with Long Covid my acute infection was relatively mild.
