The Corps! Total Soldier Lanard Toys This is the introduction to the Corps! Total Soldier series. Music G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero (NES) G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero- The Atlantis Factor (NES)
This is actually one of my favorite Corps lines. I'm probably blinded by nostalgia but I remember having a lot of these. Me and my brother used to play toy Call of Duty and it was just amazing.
My 1st Corps toys was a pack existing of John Eagle, Large Sarge, Boomerang Billy, Junkyard and a red berret guy. The tank and boat were super as well. Later on, they came with new soldiers with metallic armor and led-light accessories. The Dutch shop, Blokker, was known to sell these. Loved this range.
@@simonpaquet7161 price point and also the figures look better in my opinion, and I like the variety of vehicle choices that won't break the bank, but that's just my preference. Others who are joe fanboys will obviously disagree with me but that's ok it's what they like
I haven’t seen them in person other than a store called “Ollie’s” it’s where clearance merchandise gets a second chance. I saw them last year around Christmas.
That’s awesome I’m glad you’re a fan. I’m sorry if I haven’t responded to you before. I try to answer when I have time. Most of my schedule consists of my day job and then working on both the Corps and the regular videos :) Super glad to hear that you’re a fan :D
Not bad, you're missing some vital information, about why the line shifted, and it's stuff that fans overlook there was Originally planned expanded marauders that were to be introduced during total soldier version 2. The Original plan was derailed as part of that plan included Devils Due Publishing. There were in fact 12 inch fully clothed as well as sculpted 10 inch figures available for total soldier version 2. Although those 12 inch figures weren't widely available so many fans missed out, but they did exist. The mult pack that included the repainted "Action Posed" figures was set to be a Sam's Club exclusive set, ( yeah, to be fair on the action posed and sculpted look at what that other soldier line was doing). And total soldier wasn't an exclusive release to Walmart, many of its products were available through multiple retailers. Not a bad review, its objective, a little snarky in some parts, but it's a nice start, as total soldier version 2 was a transition line as there were other factors that played into it, including license deals that were in process as well as the unfortunate cancellation of DDP. Fight the Future, and read the all new Time Crisis comic at www.thecorpshq.com
Walter McCloud this is why you should make videos. To school the people that like the Corps. When it comes to The Corps Total Soldier, all I have to go by is my own research. And this is what popped up. The fact remains that this line was released the way that it was. We can’t see what they planned, only was was released. And to me and what I learned from New Recruits... it’s seems to go in that direction. Even getting some info from the package designer of The Corps Total Soldier, he agrees with me.
@@RazHolly I'm quite aware on who was working on the line and what was going on, and who designed the packaging, (Melvin Laso, designed some of the packaging there were others also heavily involved in the total soldier v2 line) and what the end goals were for the total soldier version 2, and I just may have to start uploading videos, to get the information out that explains the other side of the brand, I do enjoy your reviews, don't think that I don't. If I do anything on TH-cam it's going to be in a different format, you keep up your reviews and remember to #thanklanardforbringingthefun
the t crotch body style was in direct correlation to other comparable brands when it debuted, during the commando era (to replace the o ring). and articulation changed once again when puma and snakebite debuted. So why do we still see the t crotch figures you may ask, thats a complicated answer, the long and short of it is that Lanard is adding all new articulated products to the corps line, but it takes time, as with each new assortment new products require new tooling, so to keep prices low you'll see some older prodcts are mixed in while new products are built up year after year.
