I love the Dragonfly 2! I scored the salt version with H1 steel. It holds an edge nicely. It has quickly replaced my Endura 4 as my e.d.c. Thanks for the great reviews, Nutn.
What an enjoyable review. You keep having fun and reviewing knives and I'll keep watching. I watch more for you than the knife sometimes! LOLO. Seriously keep cranking out the table tops Nutn I love'em. I watch'em while I wash dishes. Long time fan long time viewer. Out. :)
So once again my pocket book took a hit. Not to bad this time. I decided to pull the trigger on the H1 Dragonfly. Thanks again for all the great knife reviews.
Great little knife for in pocket carry. I have the paramilitary 2 for EDC and Manix 2 XL with DLC blade for camping. You can't beat spyderco. I think I will send a Dragonfly to my dad!
I just ordered a Spyderco Manix 2- two days ago...... I think this is my next blade, but the Shoppe has them on backorder. Will try to order it. Thanks Nutnfancy, YOU ROCK!!!!! And USAF, Thank You For Your Service!!!!!
Nutn, i cant deny, the first thing i did when i'd click to see this one was look at the freaking duration time, and smile after that lol. Then i watched the review hehehehe. Great blade, seems really well made and another great option in the market! Great review!
Nutnfancy you have gotten me hooked on spyderco. After seeing your review on the tenacious I ordered one and have carried a delica 4 for a year and a centrafonte 3 on the weekends this among many are on my list!
Been my EDC for many years, and its awesome for what it is. My collection fav is surelly the green G10. Keep rollin the dice or shot a owl on the shed,TNP Rock!
Definite improvement. You can take some credit for those improvements. Love the rescue orange. Great knife, makes a fantastic EDC. Price point works well too.
Love the Dragonfly. It's my EDC. We like to carry the item that's small enough to almost forget having. I work in a large office in a highly populated area with many folks around that are surprised by someone carrying a knife each day. I've had to downsize during the work week and this is perfect. Especially in lighter suit pants. Weekend EDC is typically a SOG Aegis or a Kershaw Blur. For someone who wants a small, light, dress clothes friendly knife, this is a serious option to consider.
Just ordered 2, Orange and a yellow salt version, my vg-10 spydercos rust within hours while I'm kayak fishing in the gulf. I didn't even know about the salt versions till I went to cutlery shop. THANKS FOR THE CODE NUTN!!!!!
Only the second Spyderco that has motivated me to buy but I ordered it less than five minutes into the video. I can't wait to get this bad boy in the mail.
Nutn, thanks for the awesome reviews. The orange is nice, but they are hard to find and around $30 more. My wife got me a yellow Dragonfly for Valentines Day. It just came today, and it is awesome. I removed the clip, and I just carry it in my pocket. I also carry the Spyderco Mantix 2 which is also a great knife.
I've got the ZDP-189 version in Spyderco's British Racing Green. I got it from Blade HQ for $75, and it ROCKS!! Holds a hair-popping edge and weighs next to nothing. I also love the FFG, which is different from the original. Great review as always. Keep up the great work.
Got one about a week ago and love it. Orange color is great, light and handy knife. I like small folders for EDC and this is perfect. The wire clip is one of the best features. A little pricey at $55 but that is what quality costs these days.
Thanks Nutnfancy! I totally ordered one right after the code went up. That's two knives (Skyline) (This one) a flashlight kit, (The PFI Nutn' special with the headband) Guns (PPQ) (PF9) (Mossberg 500)
This knife is amazing. I missed the sale on these completely and was just about to settle for the yellow HR-1 version when I came across this orange one ebay for $50. I couldn't pass it up. By far my favorite spyderco I own thanks to this color.
That's cool. I wasn't really talking about price, there are loads of cheap knives out there... but if you just if you had only one knife to buy, ever, ( no matter the cost ) what would it be?
That orange dragonfly has a great color. looks like a great EDC blade, but i agree that it needs a bit lower price point. $50 is a bit much to ask for a small blade with no liners and a traditional lockback. I know they have to make money, and VG10 isn't cheap, but that's just a bit too rich for my blood. Thanks for another great review Nutn. Rock on.
It is a Great utility knife bit in biger size it could be much beter for me, but i think the size is what makes it a hall of famer , by the way loving your new upload speed !
Great knife! I bought it several months ago in ZDP-189 steel. Black handle. I have it with me all the time due to its incredible light weight. The ZDP steel in insanely sharp and hard. Love this knife!
Dang, I have that same old version (all FRN) of the Spyderco, and a newer Dragonfly Salt H1 in yellow. Love 'em!!! Spyderco's are a serious addiction. I think I've lost count how many I have.
I'm getting this. Also going to get the SOG Flash 1 as a backup sub-edc. All I have is big knives, I need some smaller ones in my stash thanks for the vid that blade is so slick
@11 minute mark, what advantage is the leaf design over KofA's Hunter drop point design? I like all your competitive options over spyderco's old lady cheese knife shape. Add SOG's Twitch & Twitch II and of course, Kershaw's skyline. You can't cover them all, I understand, Nutn, but spyderco looks like a design to appeal to dudes who wear plastic bracelets.
The pocket clip on the dragonfly 2 adds about 0.275" (over 1/4 inch) in width to the handle. This almost doubles the thickness of the knife at 0.625" total. Over a half inch in thickness is NOT SMALL for a small knife. I'm about to heat the clip up with the blow torch and re-shape it to a lower profile. AND THEN IT WILL BE PERFECT. I still love it. :)
I was so surprised I loved the Kershaw OD so much ended up being something that I carried everywhere. I felt off if I didn't have it in my pocket even if I was carrying another knife
Do a review on the Ka-bar TDI knife!!! I love mine for EDC, I am not sure if I will ever buy a folder again. Do not fret, I carry my leatherman wave in my pocket for EDC, you can gear check me anytime. So I've got my multi-tool with utility knife AND a fixed blade knife for self defense which is always superior to a folder.
He had a playlist called best blades under $40 if you need a bargain knife. Personally I ran with the Ka-Bar Dozier hunter and I really like it. My large blade is the Spyderco Byrd Cara Cara 2 G10. You roll with a smaller knife in the Byrd line for a more EDC friendly blade. CRKT and Kershaw have good bargains too.
update.. i left a comment saying i was going to order the dragon fly 2 from cuttlery shop and I did.. got the knife in the mail today and it is an awesome little knife...the thing is just so small and light. being so small it looks like it would be tough to pop that little blade open quickly but its really not.. btw cuttleryshoppe included not one but TWO tootsi pops in the deal... which put a smile on my face
I just ordered myself a Dragonfly 2 - Orange from Cutlery Shoppe using the nutnfancy free shipping code. My company updated their "weapon policy" which made my Manix 2 lightweight blade "illegal" to carry in the office. The blade is 3/8 of an inch too long... The Dragonfly will become my EDC going forward...
Can't decide if I want to pick one of these up. Bought a Delica 4 and carried that for a year before ordering any other knives. Then bought around 10 different knives over a couple month period. Rarely carry anything other than the delica. I feel like this knife, although similar to the delica, would just get put in a box as well.
They have the dragonfly in ZDP but I'm not sure about the dragonfly 2. Unless your talking about the glass fiber scales with ZDP but that ones like $150.
Nutn, is this in your EDC? I know it's sure to get worked into my system, I love the bright orange blade housing and the weight is right what I'm looking for. Thanks fir the review
Hey Nutn can you do a comparison between the Ka-Bar Becker Bk3 and the Ontario Sp8?? i think it would be great if you reviewed the two machete\multi tools. Camillus has a knife called the Canivore that is junk i bought/returned after i watched another review on it . My choices are between the two mentioned above they are good products from what i can tell but would love to see you do a review.Or hear recommendations.
Damn, more money in the knife drawer know. I ordered a drangonfly in orange and noticed the crkt ripple was discontinued on cutleryshoppe... had to order both !
I just bought one off of CutleryShoppe, it really is the best price... better than eBay and Amazon. Free shipping and no tax as well. Hopefully the Dragonfly 2 won't disappoint.
I cant go through all the different vids you have man, but Nutn, I am a fan of High Carbon blades (if your not opposed to keeping up on maint.) I dont know if youve seen the Morakniv's but for 10-12 bucks for an amazing blade, give em a shot if you havn't already.
I love the fact that you could actually hear and feel how excited and how much fun you were having with the review.
Great review, you can tell you love this knife, as this was a very high energy review!
Just ordered one of the purple Sprint runs of this knife, first EDC knife I'm ordering because of your channel. Cheers
I love the Dragonfly 2! I scored the salt version with H1 steel. It holds an edge nicely. It has quickly replaced my Endura 4 as my e.d.c. Thanks for the great reviews, Nutn.
Glad to finally hear your take on this knife. I always get nervous buying a knife you haven't reviewed. Hahaha!
Awesome vid!
Thanks for including competitive options.
I always open up several tabs for different knife suppliers before I even start your KRV's
Nutnfancy, thank you for all the time, energy, and expense you pour into TNP. You've helped more people than you possibly know.
Out. :)
Another great review. Spyderco has always been a favorite of mine. They just get it.
A classic Nutnfancy Spyderco knife review. That made my Sunday!
Welcome back to the full review! Good content and competitive options.
LOVING the TNP knife game lately. Don't ever stop.
I just ordered a Spyderco Manix 2- two days ago...... I think this is my next blade, but the Shoppe has them on backorder. Will try to order it. Thanks Nutnfancy, YOU ROCK!!!!!
And USAF, Thank You For Your Service!!!!!
Great job nutn, I have a DF on the way! Went with British racing green with ZDP-189. I enjoy your reviews.
Nutn, i cant deny, the first thing i did when i'd click to see this one was look at the freaking duration time, and smile after that lol. Then i watched the review hehehehe. Great blade, seems really well made and another great option in the market! Great review!
Nutn your vids are the best! I love tuning into the project.
Nutnfancy you have gotten me hooked on spyderco. After seeing your review on the tenacious I ordered one and have carried a delica 4 for a year and a centrafonte 3 on the weekends this among many are on my list!

gave one to my brother for graduation a couple years ago he loves that thing. now i wana get one for myself!
I have been carrying a orange KOA fine edge for ever and LOVE IT. Skinned out many a game with it. It's in my pocket right now.
Your best video yet sounds like you had fun making it
I've got the ZDP-189 version in Spyderco's British Racing Green. I got it from Blade HQ for $75, and it ROCKS!! Holds a hair-popping edge and weighs next to nothing. I also love the FFG, which is different from the original. Great review as always. Keep up the great work.
Great video Nutn,Spyderco makes great knives.
Bought the H1 Salt dragonfly last year for a fishing trip! Love it!
Got one about a week ago and love it. Orange color is great, light and handy knife. I like small folders for EDC and this is perfect. The wire clip is one of the best features. A little pricey at $55 but that is what quality costs these days.
I never thought I was miss the Boye dent until I used a knife without it. It really makes it more convertible engage.
Thanks Nutnfancy! I totally ordered one right after the code went up. That's two knives (Skyline) (This one) a flashlight kit, (The PFI Nutn' special with the headband) Guns (PPQ) (PF9) (Mossberg 500)

This knife is much smaller than you think. Check sizing before you buy so you're not disappointed.
I TOTALLY agree! Never thought it mattered till I picked up a new Boker last week.
bought the dragonfly 2 online today in black, but love the orange colour and your review about this litte sweety
Don't forget available in H-1 too brother. Great review of the delica I mean dragonfly : )
Nutn we have a gun and knife show here in Greenville but no good knifes thou going back again today to look some more
I don't usually watch knife videos,,,, but when I do, I watch TNP.
i just bought the orange dragonfly 2 at this moment, thanks.
I missed how entertaining this review was when I first saw it.
Just bought 2, going to gift one to a family member. Thanks Nutn!
Dang, I have that same old version (all FRN) of the Spyderco, and a newer Dragonfly Salt H1 in yellow. Love 'em!!! Spyderco's are a serious addiction. I think I've lost count how many I have.
Great vid dude I've been really wanting a spydco but I just didn't know what type of spydco but now I do thanks
I'm getting this. Also going to get the SOG Flash 1 as a backup sub-edc. All I have is big knives, I need some smaller ones in my stash thanks for the vid that blade is so slick

This may not be the best video to post on, but what do you think of the SOG seal team elite?
Wow. so sick. Love that orange Color. Time to order one. The owl is on the shed.
The pocket clip on the dragonfly 2 adds about 0.275" (over 1/4 inch) in width to the handle. This almost doubles the thickness of the knife at 0.625" total.

Awesome gift for my son. Ill have to have too. Lol. My son will love it. Thanks nutn.
I was so surprised I loved the Kershaw OD so much ended up being something that I carried everywhere. I felt off if I didn't have it in my pocket even if I was carrying another knife
Welcome to the knife show baby!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you dig black and orange color combination, check out the Benchmade triage with orange g-10 and dlc coating. I got one 2 days ago. It looks SICK!!!
Just ordered the Dragonfly 2 salt with H1 blade. Getting excited.
Ordered one I wish they also made it on navy blue, I agree it is a great knife but needs more color options like the delica and the endura.
You were missing the Kershaw Chill, but you did have the OD to represent Kershaw. lol great video, VG10 is a great steel for a blade of that size.
Behind every great man is an even better pocket knife.
update.. i left a comment saying i was going to order the dragon fly 2 from cuttlery shop and I did.. got the knife in the mail today and it is an awesome little knife...the thing is just so small and light. being so small it looks like it would be tough to pop that little blade open quickly but its really not..
btw cuttleryshoppe included not one but TWO tootsi pops in the deal... which put a smile on my face
The Kershaw Chill for only $16 would be my choice for light small EDC or utility tasks. I carry it and an Endura 4 Wave.
That kershaw looks badass, all those knives are nice
You should look up fox predator 2 it looks like an awesome knife, you might not like the weight but has awesome gimping!
AWESOME review thank you Nutn bought two what a sexy looking blade.
Haha, you were giving the tripod a reach around. Nice review, love spiderco. More motorcycle vids!!!!
I just ordered myself a Dragonfly 2 - Orange from Cutlery Shoppe using the nutnfancy free shipping code. My company updated their "weapon policy" which made my Manix 2 lightweight blade "illegal" to carry in the office. The blade is 3/8 of an inch too long... also you can definitely get a dragonfly in zdp-189 with the racing green scales. I think I got mine on knife works
Sweet blade.. I have an Endura 4 and I love it.
Great blade.. Gotta check the Cutlery shoppe and see how much it is.
Thanks for the review.
I love that knife I've been carrying for a year now
They have the dragonfly in ZDP but I'm not sure about the dragonfly 2. Unless your talking about the glass fiber scales with ZDP but that ones like $150.
Nutn, is this in your EDC? I know it's sure to get worked into my system, I love the bright orange blade housing and the weight is right what I'm looking for. Thanks fir the review

Nutn, there IS one in zdp-189! I've got the zdp-189 version in British Racing Green. I think I got it on Amazon
Damn, more money in the knife drawer know. I ordered a drangonfly in orange and noticed the crkt ripple was discontinued on cutleryshoppe... had to order both !
FYI: The CRKT Contrail G10 looks like it is available for $29.00 plus shipping at pvk.com
TNP, maybe I'm confused, but I was under the impression the OLD style was volcano grip and NEW style is "bi-directional".
Nutnfancy settings turned up to 11, baby!
What is a good starter knife for civilian carry? Something for every day use and self defense.
Nutn: You sounded like you were having a blast making this video.
I have to admit this is the best escape blade for me, the indoors man. Dan nutn, I want to buy another one.
I just bought one off of CutleryShoppe, it really is the best price... better than eBay and Amazon. Free shipping and no tax as well.
Hopefully the Dragonfly 2 won't disappoint.
Dude, love the knife reveiws, spyderco all the way!!! Show off the amaxing p226 some more!!! Freakin love that gun!!!!
@nutnfancy did you forget about the Spyderco Manix 2 lightweight?
I really love this knife but wish they would do a scaled up version, trhe caly 3.5 is the closest but not a big fan of the shape of it.
Stahp! Every time you say you put a wicked edge on something I get excited and think you tried a wicked edge system.
sooo much fun when you dig the product!
I wonder what the net value of everything nutn's ever sold is?
The CRKT Contrail blade looks a whole lot like the blade on my CRKT Ripple. No flipper, but the rest of the blade looks like an exact match.
I got the H1 Yellow. Amazing blade.
Hey nutn the OD1 is discontinued. You can still get the OD2
I cant go through all the different vids you have man, but Nutn, I am a fan of High Carbon blades (if your not opposed to keeping up on maint.) I dont know if youve seen the Morakniv's but for 10-12 bucks for an amazing blade, give em a shot if you havn't already.
Totally agree about the clip, they should all be bent over so the carry is as deep as possible. lost an endura clipped to my pocket, gutting.
Nutin, if you only had enough money to buy ONE EDC knife, what would it be?
