Rents & Groceries have gone up even in Canada. Still from the amount you mentioned on grocery, it is still less compared to Canada. You are right on the tax it happens in Canada too! Agree blue collar jobs in Canada also earn well. Utility bills are much less in UK with extreme climate in Canada you require A/C in summer& heater in winter so your bills are high throughout the year depending on use. To be bilingual is good it gives you better job opportunities. The school system is the same in Canada as well. A car has become very expensive to maintain with everything gone higher in price in Canada. You cannot compare Dubai to UK or Canada. People get to save a lot in Dubai cause we were not citizens of that country. I still think UK has better climate & is not expensive to maintain a family as it is in Canada. People need to get prepared for a very tough start if they come to Canada now.

Hi I'm in East london.. compare to Leicester London rents are way too much. 2 bed minimum these days are around 1700-1800 and 3 bed minimum these day are around £ £2200. Still in Leicester ur monthly expenses are less. Also if possible get some kids antibiotics from India and keep them with u for emergency situation every here does the same. Take care

Anwari you have shifted from Dubai to the UK that's why you face such differences in Tax, if you had shifted from Indian then you had been too happy because India tax we pay, then the school fee and medical expenses we bear it's much costliest then UK tax and expenses.

I think you should come back to Dubai with first flight or as soon as possible.... coz UK, Canada and other Western Countries have both advantages and disadvantages. But if you think Dubai is above all countries then come back to Dubai is the only solution to your problem.

Ab India mein bhi 3 class 4 class log achha kamane Lage hai khaskar Mumbai jaise shahar mein.Carpenter, electrician jaise labour bohot charge karte hai.
Same system infact more tax in Germany. yes earning are more here but more tax as well. We as a family are 3 person with 8 year old son but higher the income the more is the tax. In Germany there is even Radio Tax.
Educational is same with German Public school however for Kindergeld we get 240 euro per child.
Schooling system is best in UK❤

We have the fastest broadband (both wfh and have most appliances run by WiFi) and we pay half what you have quoted. For petrol…. £200 😮 where are you driving?!? We live in London and have large car and only pay £76 a month for Diesel.
Tv license is £13 a month - this is not a tax but a fee to watch live tv or bbc (inc IPlayer).

Waise we will be coming to London for our summer vacation as there is holiday in Germany and from there we will be going to Birmingham and Scotland. In Scotland there are beautiful castle where Kuch Kuch Hota hai title song has been shot and Insha Allah we will be making its reel.

The tax collected in UK is reasonable bcoz it is used for providing free medical, social services, old-age pension, etc
Indians don't have these benefits in Lieu of tax.
Many countries levy entertainment tax for TV...
After 70 age u get old age pention..who knows we r alive or not..

You have added 600 taxes in the list....doesnt make sense to add as it depends on what you earn. That should be removed unless you bring in salary too.
