Nice try and very beautiful but after living here for many years it's nothing like that. There is and always will be very strong xenophobia to people that live here. In the beginning, as a tourist, you don't feel it as you spent your money and gone. Don't get me wrong it is an amazing place to live and generally, the working-class Thais are very accepting of other countries. But in the eyes of some ministers, we are just Dirty Firangs.
