Seiko, Hamilton, Tissot and the Omega are great stepping points before you can afford a Rolex. Some may argue that Omega is stealth wealth. Less flashy, great specs and historical horology
Omega is on a higher level than those others.

Not really. This guy is a schemester imo. You can thank middle men hustlers like this for literally ruining the watch market for the average person. Let me give you an example. If you want a Corvette because you enjoy sports cars, you go to Chevrolet on a good sales day and buy a car. Because of reseller middle men like him, you can not really go to Rolex or ap anymore and just buy your dream watch, certainly not unique pieces anymore. Would you go to a middle man who tacks on 10k to your dream car just because they have the power to? Take my advice and stay away from luxury watches unless you really can overly waste your money. This guy probably is on pbd trying to spread his business because he's slowing down on sales. Pretty soon when the economy tanks eventually, he will be selling those elite pieces for cheap 😅😅😅. He knows what is about to hit his industry, recession around the corner salesman.

For the average person, luxury watches are a status symbol scam. Most of them don't even keep good time. It's no different than buying overpriced diamonds because they are "scarce." Lots of money can be made trading, though. It's like trading stocks, except there is no objective, fundamental data to evaluate them. But if that's what you're into, go for it.

14:00 PBD, Kevin O’Leary from Shark Tank recently made a special Shark Tank version with Tudor (same owner of Rolex). It was for all his staff that were with him from the first episode of Shark Tank up to today. It took him around 2 years to get all green lights to build the watches. Rolex is an amazing brand... almost price inelastic .. I mean even with the massive downturn in the watch hype market... you can't just walk into a Rolex dealer and buy a sports watch.. forget about a luxury watch like the solid white gold GMT with meteorite dial for example... like hens teeth.
Getting easier day by day. The hype is over. 2025 will be your year.

There are so many great watches other than Patek, AP, Rolex or RM... Get yourself an Omega, Grand Seiko, Tudor, Breitling, Longine... Even a Nomo, Seiko, Bulova, Citizen, are phenomenal brands to get into. Luxury watches are not a thing that you need in your life.
Didn't John Mayer and Ed Sheeran get custom watches made by Rolex and Patek? Ed got his home town put onto a Patek and John Mayer got Rolex to produce a special run of a Daytona.
