My love for “Tangled” puts “Mother Knows Best” above some of your choices, but I definitely respect your list and some of your more underrated/lesser known choices.
@@thetroveyoutubeis there a reason why Mother Knows Best wasn’t in the main list?? I personally find this one to be pretty underrated and I’ve seen some people say “its not scary enough” completely missing the point of the song. Gothel isn’t trying to be scary, she’s painting herself as a guiding light in the dark cruel world. The song is made even more delicious when Rapunzel rebels and finally says no, giving us a different side of Gothel and showing how truly terrifying she can be. Also, I would’ve swapped places with 2 and 3 and also put Savages in the list. I get this one is a bit too touchy for some, but that’s exactly the point of the song, and Pocahontas’s solo is pretty underrated imo
My Top 10 Villain Songs: 1. Hellfire 2. Be Prepared 3. Poor Unfortunate Souls 4. Friends on the Other Side 5. Savages 6. Prince Ali (Reprise) 7. This is the Thanks I Get 8. Mother Knows Best 9. The Mob Song 10. Shiny
Scar's song is very poetic. This lyric alone is so thoughtful "deliciously squared." I still don't know what it means. But it is definitely in my top five. Now Hellfire for me is the top villian song. It is so chilling yet so profound. I can't give it up.
I know you aren't doing sequels, but for me, My Lullaby from The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride is my favorite villain song. Suzanne Plashette's vocals and the amount of drama in the performance is just phenomenal to me, plus the absolutely terrifying lyrics and the way Zira basically views her son as a device for revenge.
Make way for the stars of rhe House of Mouse! It's their house now! I don't understand how I Wanna Be Like You is considered a villian song, I personally would've chosen Trust In Me by Kaa 🐍 How is Love Is An Open Door a villian song? Is Frozen trying to pull a twist villian twist on me? Frollo truly ROARS the hell out of Hellfire (pun intended) and the visuals live rent free in my memory right up there with Poor Unfortunate Souls. Both Ursula and Frollo build rhe tension gradually to emphasize the gravity of their presence as antagonists.
I guess King Louie isn’t exactly a villain but he has antagonistic qualities so I included his song. It can definitely be debated though if it belongs. As for Love is an Open Door - maybe it’s not a “villain song” but a villain is performing it. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@thetroveyoutube As always, it is a pleasure to have you make the magic you do with your love of Disney. Truly phenomenal, look forward to your next video!
Magnifico was definitely robbed; he could've had a song with unique production and stronger lyrics (the OG lyrics still get a valid point across) instead of a generic sound.
I don't know, I really love Be Prepared, but Hellfire also slaps too, and so does Poor Unfortunate Souls!!! Too bad Anastasia isn't technically Walt Disney Animation Studios, or In the Dark of the Night would be pretty darn close to the top for me!!!
Be Prepared just slaps so hard every time for me! Too bad Anastasia isn't technically Disney, or In the Dark of the Night would be pretty close to the top for me!!!
I love Winnie the Pooh but I wasn’t crazy about the fever dream feel they included in the show and movies. It just feels so unsettling and too grown for children 😂
Heffalumps and woozles made it onto the list but Mother Knows Best is just an honourable mention? What have you been smoking? Jokes aside, i agree with most of your list. Hellfire would be number one for me, but these are all great villain songs with the exception of the aforementioned Pink Elephants ripoff. Fun fact: the visuals of Be Prepared, with the hyenas marching in front of Scar, are actually based on Nazi military parades.
I was smoking whatever Pooh was to dream up all of that........ I have heard that about Be Prepared, it's pretty creepy but effective. Thanks for watching and roasting me as always :)

Thank you! Mother Knows Best is fantastic.

Don’t forget to also thank Jim Cummings for stepping in to finish the song Be Prepared when Irons developed vocal problems.
Yes, he saved the day. The transition is seamless.

HI... i totally agree with your ranking . My favourite is also be prepared

Dr.Facilier Jafar and Judge Frollo wearing Red Black and Purple ❤️🖤💜
They're all so good!
Would you ever want to do a ranking of the disney "I Want" songs?
I'll definitely consider that, thanks for the suggestion!
Brilliant list❤.
I recently rediscovered Goodbye so soon. And its wonderful.😊
elite ranking! i feel like i would have the same songs in my top 10, but different ranking. Hellfire has to be my favourite tho🔥

That’s a great one, if I was including the sequels I think it would definitely be on the ranking.
@@thetroveyoutubeIt is just such a dark song. Zira was an underrated villain for real.

7:25 Esmeralda She Spits On Judge Frollo's Face
Scar's song is such a bop! Too bad Anastasia isn't technically Disney, or In the Dark of the Night would be pretty close to top for me
It would be on my list too 💯
It's a shame Rasputin was removes from the stage adaptation.
