Easily the best game of the day. People were completely shitting all over DRX not giving them a chance at making it out, and they shut a lot of people up with this game. If DRX play like this the rest of play-ins, they are going to take 1st place in their group.
Seriously as a Deft enjoyer, I was so pissed with the casters just simping over RNG and GALA the whole day and even predicting that DRX would lose to MAD and EG. The utter disrespect these guys show

Result could have been difference if that greedy Wei didn't chase Akali and lost the game when they have won that team fight to be almost even in gold. But no he decided to chase, inted & made Breathe lost shut down gold & baron after.

Wei and Breathe played so well in the early game. Breathe is the best player this game. What are you watching saying xiaohu is the only one who played good.

yeah I think because of draft DRX were playing teamfights on easy mode but they executed well. I didn't think they'd be as strong as they showed here but they seem pretty resilient so far

Well that pretty much ruined Lyrics 90% prediction, made his 50% prediction a lot more unlikely, flatted Jatt's 10% prediction and made Dash's 10% prediction more unlikely. That's 4 out of 9. I'm surprised they had so little fate in DRX. They should be smited!

I dont know if Jatt watches many LCK games or just really biased with RNG but listening to him is just so annoying. I think he took a lot of copium before going to worlds. "Ego draft" what? Breathe is playing jax and Xiaohu is playing his leb, then they have vi and nilah. Tristana shouldve been dead 2 seconds in the team fight and akali shouldnt have been able to move. Drx countered with maokai. It's not ego draft, they just got bodied. Accept it😂

RNG just straight up shooting themselves in the foot in draft. Their comp is literally broken with taric over alistar. Pairs so well with nilah in lane and provides the follow up cc to vi ult that point and click pulls her onto someone so it's not even like you're missing the follow-up that an engage tank is bringing (the reason they picked alistar) with an invulnerable Jax and nilah running your team down + Jax dodge and nilah dodge that can affect teammates for after the taric ult and Leblanc flanking pressuring trist. Too bad they went with some useless ass dog trash champ. Guess it's at least better than locking in that leona they hovered lol.
If deft able to carry the game like this throughout.. DRX will be hard one to contest.
Thanks. Zeka hard carried them everywhere during regional qualifiers, play-in, groupe stages and knock-out stages to the Finals. Enough. Same from this game where he was massive along with Pyosik. Deft was pretty great too.

11:00 (~8 min ingame) wow RNG wei's vi gank got them first blood. DRX pyo's mao threw 2 early kills with clone mid and huge misplay top (jax was completely cd, no need to rush with red buff)
22:00 (~19 minutes ingame) maokai broken in teamfights they back in it
46:00 drx won! last 2 big teamfights were too messy for maokai to make an impact but in the end drx's micro was up to point and they had a good gold lead.

It is way too early to say anything really, but remember all those who claimed the four LPL seeds are neck and neck and super strong.
Well let's not forget DRX is by far the weakest of the four LCK seeds, gapped pretty hard by Gen G and T1, and somewhat by DK (who is returning for their fourth consecutive Worlds). Not to mention Pyosik is their weaker starting jungler.
