Toasted is not the same as baked， toasted = grilled You can also soak a slice of bread in a beaten egg and cook it in butter in a frying pan until set and golden，then you have “French Toast”. Season with salt to serve, or sprinkle with sugar/jam/maple syrup. The French call this “pain perdu” （ lost bread）.
You can use a frying pan to make a toast. Just turn the fire on and lie the bread on the pan, then flip it. No need to add oil. I used to eat 粑粑柑 (I didn’t know this word). They’re so good. There is so much variety of oranges in China. 看起来大连水果很便宜。我住在深圳的时候我买不起草莓很贵了！
