    that is fast action on the recent glasses comment
    nice upgrade to tortoiseshell; a strong look that suits you
    good on hair, too
    natural hair nearly always displays healthiness better than gelled, colored or overstyled hair
    clear and needed counsel for crypto winners
    in addition to your clients, many others are getting big benefits from your videos, lighting up the otherwise murky realm of passports, taxes and residencies

    Many disadvantages of being a US citizen regarding investment opportunities can be made less severe by having an offshore company and THAT having the bank accounts and investment accounts. Of course you are the one who signs the checks. There are lots of legitimate foreign companies that have bosses that are not nationals of the country of residence or incorporation of the company.

    I love coinbase and all, but them snitching to the IRS (about accounts with over $20,000 in assets) is not cool :(

    Andrew, have you done a video on the cheapest passport and cheapest residence permit for people who do it as a hobby and dont have tax burdens?

    Good video, but one thing missed is that regardless of having a second passport or residency, if you are still a US citizen you are required to pay taxes for both US income, and foreign income (at a given threshold). If you don't, it's illegal and you can be arrested upon return. People usee to surrender their US citizenship. However, it's also illegal to surrender US citizenship to avoid taxation.
    However, what you're suggesting is true, as long as the foreign banks don't know you're also a US citizen. Oh also, some foreign banks nowdays report to the US about US citizens banking in thir countries for tax purposes, Swiss bsnks included.

      We have discussed US citizenship-based taxation here a lot. However, some parts of your comment are simply not true.

    Coinbase no longer issues 1099K forms. They just issue 1099 Misc if you earned interest or rewards. 👍

    As a UK citizen, am I able to get a foreign residence in say the Caribbean and pay 0 taxes, while keeping my UK passport? The question is: Is all I need to not pay taxes, a residence in a country that has no taxes or do I need to become a citizen and give up my UK passport?

    This is all well and good. But what is the second passport. That’s why I watched. As a crypto investor I’m seriously looking at a second place of residence. What is that country of residence for us Australians ?

    I've read from tax websites that the US will still tax US citizens who hold dual passports, meaning there's no advantage to this enormous investment. Please tell me I'm wrong, I want to be very wrong.

    $0 on taxes including capital gains, dividend or interest payments as long as you are a resident. Sounds good but what’s the call catch?

    Hey there. You must know having a second passport and/or residency will not absolve a u.s. citizen of his tax obligation, even if/when they renounce, they will still owe for ten more years. So this is not a short term solution. I have a friend that has found a better legal solution.

    How is Ukraine for a second passport?

    • @theandrewhenderson
      @theandrewhenderson 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Rather difficult, at least legitimately. Oddly enough, it is likely the poorest country to have visa-free access to Thailand, Japan, South Africa, and Brunei, countries that offer limited visa-free access to Tier B passports. It also offers visa-free access to Russia, at least for now.

    These videos are good but I feel there is an element of the sky is falling to build a sense of urgency and in turn generate business for you. Nothing wrong with that, right. But then I start to question the validity and relevance-and in turn-the quality of the material. No doubt, it’s time to leave the US. But crypto will grow and the people involved are smart so they will find ways to circumvent the transition to fiat currrncy if that is even necessary in the mid to long term. But I am in agreement that the quality of in the US is garbage. Every aspect. There’s no value for the price. And even if you are wealthy why spend money there when you can have a better quality of life in other counties for a fifth of the cost.

    Interesting video. A lot of different ways to protect your hard-earned crypto investments! Beyond getting a 2nd passport, have you looked into digital vaults that act as a means for crypto-inheritance? Digipulse ($DGPT) has a working beta that allows your funds to go to the correct people in case of death of the investor. Something to think about in this ever-developing crypto-space.

    • @jamaalgill2740
      @jamaalgill2740 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Agreed! I've been hearing a ton about Digipulse recently and I've heard their platform beta works really well. Digipulse can also be used as an insurance mechanism for those investors that are nervous about losing their crypto fortunes upon losing their private keys. With the great idea and use case, on top of the super low coin supply, I can see big things coming from Digipulse in the near future.

      @etiennejacquemai9402 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I can see DGPT hitting $100 easily. With a solid team and such incredibly low supply this token presents a use case that is unique. This project solves a real problem and is first to market with a solution that is far more advanced than competitors! Their approach to security and safety is something a lot of projects could learn from! I see tremendous potential, my fav long term hodl at the moment!
