The best part of this match is that crusader back-seating for 10 minutes straight after he suicided.
That guy was great. It's one thing to offer general advice (check the base, be careful), but it's quite another to micromanage every start and stop.

I love how at 5:10 the M44 goes to the the other M44 and says "we're doomed" as if he's staring at his minimal thinking "ehhhhh"
The Jagdpanzer IV was operated by one Hector Vallejos. It's possible he wasn't a native English speaker and didn't understand all the vitriol and sarcasm his teammates were no doubt heaping on him in team chat. Sometimes sarcasm backfires and causes the target to think they're actually doing things right.
Actually the most likely answer is that it was a bot. It’s a full name with an underscore spacing. That means it was a bot.
@@Dutch4609 I forgot about bots, and apparently so did Jingles. But if it was a bot, then I was inadvertently correct. The bot is DEFINITELY not a native English speaker. 😁
@@Fadamor the only reason I mention bots is because my brother played WOT for the first time in a long time and sent me a Snapchat last night of his end of game scoreboard. He had several kills and over 5000 damage. Only 1 other person who wasn’t a bot was his teammate. The other 28 players were all bots. He thought he did so great but he wasn’t happy with me laughing at him lol. I looked up the player count this week for WOT NA servers and it was barely 7000 logins. EU had 100k and RU servers had 170k
@@Dutch4609 Bots have colons ( : ) in front and after their names. So it would have had to have been :Hector_Vallejos: in order to be a bot. You are ALMOST right though... he's an SA player and SA players are really bad. The SA server is really good for doing missions if you can get on during a time of day when the NA seal clubbers aren't on.
@@TehButterflyEffect That only means he's a bot in WoWs, not WOT. If you watch the recent video where the player was playing in the returning player mode in World of Tanks, all of the other player names fit the FirstName_LastName convention that is on display here.

If you think the T34-85's gun elevation and depression is bad, there's the console's Cold War premium, the T-100, which is a T34 that the Egyptians tried to wedge a 100mm into. Has a turret rivalling the FV4005 in size but manages to only get 9 degrees of elevation and just over 3 degrees of depression...
That one looks kind of cool (imo), and it's under the TD listing - it could probably work in PC Wot, I think.
Egypt? I thought it was Iraq. Or at least Saddam used a similar vehicle which was found abandoned by the US during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
I've played that and my depression was much more than 3 degrees

Mighty overlord Jingles. The hp remaining totals only updates if the tanks are in render distance or have died. That is why the enemy hp went from 7k down to just over 2k.

WG could balance it bit more, like giving better RoF and mobility. Maybe more armor too and a bigger gun.
Back in the day I had the regular T34-85 and I got one shotted by artillery all the time. It was so frustrating. Then they introduced the premium T34-85M with much better hull armor and they nerfed artillery. By then I quit the game.
Never figured out why this map was named after Mannerheim line as other maps named for real places have realistic terrain for the place. Mannerheim line at karelian isthmus is flat, no mountain or even hills just some water features. If it were like this ruskies would have never broke through it :D
Jingles, I'm surprised you didn't mention the MacDonald's tank (T34-85M) was good. It was used in competitive play not too long ago, since it is a strict upgrade from the tech tree version. It did help that he was slinging gold the entire match too lol. 9 kills is an achievement either way though, nice

Jingles, judging from the player names, Ralph was on the NA server but was playing in a battle with a lot of SA players. SA players are BAAAAAD. That Flatpanzer was an SA driver.
Also, when did sixth sense get changed to 3 seconds? I know it was a while ago, but it used to be 2 seconds.

The Crusader was someone who hide in the bush with the arty in first minute and then jump down and crash from the hill, close to the base, I wonder who was really bad? Comment on the game all the time.

Hummels have no range. The Hummel moved up to have a shot at targets.
Default gun has 800m range, enough to fire across a good chunk of the map. It's not Bert the Avenger...

4k damage in a tier 6 battle is fantastic.
The T-34's were just ' Tacked ' together with the idea that any tanks still fighting after 4-5 battles had more than earned it's cost. Had Germany not 3 welded the tanks, just one heavy bead for the time of life they ' Hoped ' to get like with the Sherman tank, flood the field with more targets then the enemy can aim at and the odds of winning go up, WWII in just such a case in point.

Well there were a lot of worse people on the Jagdpanzer team. He managed the 3rd most damage and 7th XP.
Have not played WOT for ages, but during my time it happened quite a lot that TD moved to a sniping position in the beginning of a match and then barely moved ever again.
Guess the ridge there was a nice position in the beginning, and the he just did not move to support the push to the cap.
The Flatpanzer seems to know what he's doing. From where I'm seeing, he was trying to lure Ralph into a position where the situation was entirely in his favor, leaving ralph at a disadvantage. When Ralph didn't fall for his tricks, he tried a ram as a last ditch attempt to save the match... though ralph seemed to notice in time to move out of the way.
It was very likely a bot. If it was a human with half a clue they'd have relocated to A0 and killed Ralph as he advanced into the open.

Jingles, have you considered that the Flat Panzer player was new to the game. I used to do, as many others, the same in the early years of the "game".
Probably, if this was an "inherited" account or... the account is under a "pilot", essentially a guy uses his buddy's account while the account owner is off doing something else.

I was watching some WoT clips and one thing started bothering me. I haevnt played the game for 6+ years and yet i still couldnt find any map i didnt recognize. So i started wondering that WG didnt add anything new to the game, except for new and new tanks sellable to milk their playerbase. Now thanks to this vid i am glad to say i was wrong. They actually work on the game, and renamed at least one map since i last played.

Perhaps, as Russian game devs, they have chosen to (or were encouraged to by the state) neglect recognising the Finnish struggle against the USSR, and that is why the map was called 'Arctic' for a long time? It's a long shot but could be.
Well, options no. 4 and 5 were that he was stuck or flipped.

I'm pretty sure they are congratulating themselves on "what a handsome game they played" despite having an unlicky outcome. The games scoring system, in no way, gives them the feedback that they were single-handedly instrumental in the downfall of their team, whereas the T-50-2, who is 7th on the list, and 3rd by Exp, was the one that played the handsome game on the other side.
that enemy player scored 1200+ which was more that almost all of the rest of Ralphs team. Not as bad as you think
the unfortunate thing is... the jp 4 is kinda terrible in every respect except its stealth.
there might be worse TD's out there, but this was at least, for me, the worst one by far to grind. I preferred the M3 Lee, because it at least had a good gun for its tier. the standard 88 is a doorknocker.

Pretty good game there, I'm just wondering why 85M players always spam gold even though they don't need it. Like here the only time ammo was changed was when shooting at arty. Why even bother carrying AP if you're gonna spam gold anyways, at this point it would make more sense to just throw the AP's in the bin, move gold to slot 1 and buy 7 more HE so you can slap all the lightly armored tanks with those.
Finally, someone with reasoning beyond it just being goldspam
Yeah, if you're just going to fire gold in a match as friendly as that, might as well just ditch the AP. I struggle to really hate on goldspammers, because if you've got the silver for it, its *strictly* making your tank better.
to be fair i was going for the three mark at the time and figured why not load the gold. is what it is i got my marks and now i can chill and play it normally :)
@@Ralphthegrape like I said man, it's a straight upgrade. At this point in the games lifecycle, people have to plan on gold being fired at them and take that into account accordingly. Being mad at someone for utilizing an option that makes them play better just makes you whiney, and the WG community is definitely not short on whiney manchildren. Soldier on!
@Ralphthegrape gunmarks ruined this game. Because it just promoted gold spam even more so you tryhards can get 2 pixels on your gun barrel.
Really missing the point on the blame. Gunmarks aren't the problem, the problem is prammo itself. Since gold ammo has very, very minor tradeoffs in exchange for strictly being better ammo (generally), then it would continue to be an issue regardless. Unless prammo is balanced to have a niche, then it'll continue to just be strictly more effective.
Yeah I though option 4 as well but as a great man once said, if you can’t take a joke, you shouldn’t be playing World of Tanks
