Hi Lee, I'm a former regionally- competitive powerlifter that just started running in early 2024. Was very adept at slinging heavy weights but have never ran or did any running sports my entire life. Previously my PR for the 5k during training when I ran as hard as I could was 37:50. This was without any structure to my training whatsoever. This past weekend during my first ever 5k race after following your 4-week plan for a faster 5k, I had managed to shave off 6 minutes & completed the 5k in 31:16. Your videos and guidance are ABSOLUTE GOLD!! Without a doubt, your channel will absolutely blow up this year. Thank you so much my brother! Given that I have made so much progress with only a 4 week plan, my goal for 2025 would be to run a sub-25 5k😀 Think I got it in me to do this
Hey Lee, any chance you could give guidance on nutrition. I’ve lost a lot of weight, I started running last August. My fear is obviously not to put on weight, however I know and understand how important the need to feed the body is in order to have the endurance and energy to run and recover. What, how much, when should I eat to keep my body from burning out and to aid recovery. I love how you explain and guide runners, I’m more of a jogger, but pleased that I’m still continuing with my new found love of 🏃♀️. Thanks 🙏🏽
Lee thank you for your great videos. In my last two races, I've knocked 5 mins off my pb. It was me showing up and running 5 times a week, but I could not do it without listening to your advice.
