By a strike of luck, I managed to meet Oleksandr Ovcharenko before discovering your video. Beautiful artwork, very nice guy and his workshop is amazing. Enjoy his sensitive harps, they sound amazing. Take care.

Thank you man. I had a couple an some 1800s harmonicas I used from my grandad born in 1907. I thought this shizz wasnt around so much anymore. I love it man thank you for continuing an old an good tech along with keeping an active piece of History

Agreed! I’m looking at the Navi as the next Ovcharenko for my collection!

@BoxcarBetts I'm so unfamiliar with this jaw harp manufacturer/creator/ARTIST but I'm STRONGLY considering adding the Molfar to my inventory!

Love Ovcharenko's work. This was fun to see.
Do all of his various styles have names? I'm not sure what mine would be called.

Damn, the owl one looks so awesome. If a jaw harp was a magic wand, this is what it would look like. Sounds awesome, too. Too bad I could never even hope to afford something like that. Not to downplay my Berezenko tho, I cherish that one.

I'm not sure I understand this... The Berezenko go for $95 to $115, the Ovcharenko "Molfar" is $66, and the "Rune" is $139.
I think you could probably afford one just fine if you chose to do so.

@syberphish I have the Meditation, got it for 50€ (reduced). The Ovcharenko ones I found, I'd be interested in the rune and the owl. The rune I only found on his website, theharpery, but he doesn't ship to Germany. I haven't found anything like the owl, but I'm sure that's way more expensive.

Man I have really been digging your channel, and I appreciate all the great information you have here. I wanted to ask a question, I am in need of a tuned set of harps, and can’t seem to get anyone who wants to sell them lol. I have tried Mouth Music with a few phone calls, voicemails and emails, and have gotten no response. My only decent harp is a Black Fire, and I thought maybe a set of them would work out for me, however even they haven’t returned an email where I inquired about buying direct. so I wanted to ask, do you have somewhere you would recommend for buying tuned sets? I’m also open to recommendations on the brand (i’m a professional guitarist, but I love these things) and as you know, a lot of stuff on eBay or in many music stores is just unplayable junk. just thought I would ask here, and tell you how much I have appreciated your content!

Mouth music is no longer open. Try the company I get all my harps through. theharpery.com. They have diatonic and chromatic Blackfire sets in stock.
