Downtempo Ambient Jam “Frostbyte” | Drumbrute, Microfreak, NTS-1, Pro VS Mini

This jam actually started off with the NTS-1. I had used it for effects on my last track, and still had the reverb and delay dialed in when I accidentally hit a key on my Keystep and the result was this crystal clear reverberating tone that was just so beautiful on its own I knew I had to do something with it. So I made a short, six note sequence for it on the Keystep, and then did an accompaniment for it on the Microfreak. After that, I layed down a chill downtempo beat on the Drumbrute Impact and rounded the track off with a solitary droning note from the Pro VS Mini, which it does just oh so well! A little ways in I switch on the arpeggiator on the NTS-1 to give the lead that tinkling icicles falling and shattering sound.
