Today's theory breaks down potential connections between EXO, NCT, and SHINee's universes, and sees how they could impact SuperM's storyline. This is all just for fun, I thought it would be interesting to examine some of the parallels between these groups' videos. I feel like there were definitely a ton of stuff I missed since I haven't been analyzing NCT and SHINee's videos for very long, so let me know what some of your theories are down below!

Actually Taemin didn't call anyone. He was sitting down looking at his surroundings then looked at his phone, flipped it around then the "ae" appeared..end of mv. Maybe It was SM's way of letting us know something new was coming next. Just like at the end of Kai's "mmmh" hinting at the return of Xiumin and D.O., NCT U 90's Love ending with Jisung spinng on a record which later was for "Work IT". JUST MY THOUGHTS

@@miamichelleabad5821 if you follow NCT closely, you’ll notice that NCT’s theories are strongly related to dreams and reality. Thus, it make sense somehow when Taemin said “everything is his dream”. Hope this helps.

Red force in exo is red velvet and taemin is seen dancing around people wearing red so maybe red velvet works for taemin to capture exo, and in superm taemin teaser we could see the red colour, I feel all of them related.

SM staff is truly incredible creating a storyline throughout from the beginning till now. Maybe it's not that deep but still the aesthetics in the MVs and the groups' theories make us imagine more possibilities.

15:00 this part of many Taemin's laying down on the stairs suddenly reminded one movie (but idr how was it called) where 1 man tries to get time machine where it let's him to travel to his back/further cuz he'd trauma after his dad died, he wants to stay young/life forever by travelling w TM n within it he creates copies of young himself or goes to years back his younger self but each travel back time ends w being failed. And at the end of the movie has scenes similar to Taemin's mv.. Where he stands/see many failed of himself

Super interesting theory. On your EXOVELVET video, some people (myself included) brought up the idea of RV being the red force. Would it be possible for them and Taemin to both exist as the red force in different “worlds/realities”, or does this theory make “RV = RF” impossible?
Taemin has been wearing a lot of red and incorporating a lot of red in his MVs in the last few years, so that could be a nod to him being aligned with/being the red force.
I feel like both could be possible! I just don't really know how yet though, considering the whole parallel universes theme, maybe there are alternate versions of villains in each world?

I’ve been watching your other theory vids and tbh I think Taemin’s recent solo MVs (Criminal/Idea eras and onward) have little to no connection because he has almost full creative freedom over his solo work now and, in his words, it all has to do with his own personal conflicts/feelings and his evolution as an artist. However, *SuperM* Taemin definitely plays a major role in the SM universe, no doubt about that

Taemin at the end looks like he is in the other universe of EXO which is not burned. The ae symbol looks the same way Fury called Captain Marvel for help after half of world got erased.
I have another take on this "Taemin being evil" assumption - I think that Taemin is not the all evil 'Black Mamba'. What I do believe is that Taemin might be under Black Mamba's control and he is the "follower" of Black Mamba trying to seduce or tempt other victims to be under Black Mamba's control. It brings me back to the song and MV "Want' by Taemin. In his lyrics it is as if he is trying to tempt Karina ( She appears im the MV) to join the "cult". An example lyrics of why I think this song was about seducing Karina into evil is this: "This sweetness of the forbidden apple tempts you". As we know, the forbidden apple is from the bible and that the serpent (snake) verbally seduced Eve to bite into the apple. In the Genesis story, the snake plays the role of a trickster. He verbally seduces the woman into breaking God's commandment and eating from the forbidden fruit. I think that is what Taemin was doing in the MV. Mabye Black Mamba seduced Taemin (instead of the woman just like Eve) and remember Eve then seduced the man to bite into the apple. So it was switched - Now the man (Taemin) is seducing the woman (Karina) to fall into the trap. Instead of it being the opposite just like the bible. And it is said that The serpent (aka snake) in the bible was a woman.
Its adds on to the theory that in Taemin's 'Advice' he is trying to warn the girls (aespa) something. Why would Taemin be the black mamba yet still trying to warn the girls? He is the one who contacted them first after at the end of SuperM "One" MV. There is a lot of talk about Taemin's "doppleganger" and that there is a fake taemin trying to manipulate other innocent victims. I have no idea where they picked this idea from but after watching Taemin's 'Advice' MV, I am starting to believe that there might be two Taemins. In the MV, not only did Taemin have black hands like the mysterious lady in the 'black mamba' teaser, but they also showed a zoom in into his eyes (specifically left eye) just like Karina. When they zoomed into his eyes, you could clearly see a key lock. Which reminds me of the lyrics "Never get the keys to my lock" because after the zoom into his eyes, it transitions to taemin in a tiny room as if he is a prisoner. The song is quiet mysterious if you look at the lyrics itself. It feels like he is hiding something. There is a lot of talk about "crossing the line" it just feel like to me he does not want the listener to invade something. Mabye the doppleganger theory makes sense?

Odd theory:What is all the SuperM members are villians and not just Taemin.
SuperM is a just way for all of them members to rejoin together. There MV have been getting more aggresive lately, especially "One." They somewhat appear as aliens/mad guys in the music video.
What if each of the members were "brainwashed" and sent to the differing groups to sabotage their efforts? So, Kai&Baekhyun to EXO, Taeyoung&Mark to NCT, Ten&Lucas to WayV. Taemin being the only one who remembers, explaining his activity in "Criminal" comeback.
Taemin was planned to be the leader of Superm before Baekhyun anyway. What if he stayed beside to watch over and facilitate the others in their groups?
Interesting theory (and could explain what was the goal of Taemin with Super M) but it seems unlikely to me as it it Ten who free the other WayV's members in Turn back Time. So for me WayV's members are and aware of the matrix and able to "escape" it (if they take the yellow pill, so let's wait for the next comeback).
I honestly don’t know how much you are into EXO’s theory, but actually since a long time ago we have been thinking that there’s a traitor inside the group (or even more than one); and even though Baek and Kai are always seem as the pure ones, some of their actions are quite questionable (I have some proves of this, but they’re just too long for me to explain them jajaja), so you’re theory may not be completely wrong

I knew it from the first time because somehow superm (mv) theory concept is similar to exo, and also about red velvet mv even though they aren’t part of superm, their mv are pretty connected to exo too. But they’re so creative and think ahead for years even before the groups debuted. I mean from what I can see that sm start this since SNSD or TVXQ , they make mv with a theory not just any regular mv, and yeah tbh other company start to did the same thing as SM. I feel like the red force is RV but the leader (mastermind) is taemin, maybe red velvet is taemin’s subordinate.

I think they might've been too early for the plot. We started seeing the story develope once EXO came about. Even SHINee only entered once EXO debuted. All the newer groups come into the theories because their videos were made after the story started. It's possible for the older generations to be in on the story, tho

@@chixkgoddess8499 I believe so. From what I took from MV and other theories. Exo couldn't win it lose but somehow Suho did, plus a lot of people believe his fight from a mental one, that's whys he's "asleep" and floating and it switches from the museum to underwater
Most of their battles are ended up being a battle of attrition and their power levels are mostly equal so a stalemate is more likely, there would be individual differences from combat experience. Also though in the end of Obsession MV, they showed a planet burning but we're not entirely sure which planet it was. As we all know, parallel universes and alternate dimensions are a big part of EXO and maybe as EXO are guardians of the Tree of Life and they fought an evil version of themselves, it caused some fluctuations that affected other worlds. And as EXO MVs aren't in order, we really wouldn't know if they ever won or not.

I agree with a lot of this, but some things that Taemin has said over the years make me think that there are two Taemins, and a struggle between them. I don't think the bad Taemin has completely defeated the good Taemin yet. This would explain the duality of Taemin's actions in SuperM videos too. I haven't been able to figure out if that is literal or not. Either a battle between two sides of himself inside his own mind, or if we believe in the parallel universe theory, there could even physically be a Taemin from each (two Taemins walking around out there). Perhaps the good Taemin is working with others to try to prevent certain events.

My own theory : Kangta is the boss of Red Force that's why he was with SM for 25 years. Taemin and Red Velvet are Kangta's worker. Kangta is the boss of Black Mamba. Aespa is trying to defeat black mamba that's why Kangta is trying to make Aespa work for him as Red Force. So Kangta ask Taemin to call Aespa and pretend he need help so the Red Force can caught aespa and make them Red Force.
So with the addition of "IDEA" to Taemin's videos.... ;) I hope there's a small update on this. Cause this is amazing.

I think someone is controlling Taemin. And that someone is BoA. In Want MV, Taemin is surrounded by snakes, BoA literally means snake.
The line "I'm on a leash called you." hints that Taemin is being controlled by someone which again, I think is probably BoA. To support this theory, we know that in IDEA's mv, BoA is the one singing "Killing Me."
I also think that would answer why we saw Taemin checking out on Aespa. Because if BoA is the Black Mamba, and she literally appeared at the end of Black Mamba's mv, and Taemin is her pawn, maybe she ordered Taemin to keep tabs on Aespa.
Taemin might be the Red Force, but BoA is the one controlling her. Thus, making her the supervillain of the SMCU.

Okay, I LOVED this video!! Honestly, I've been looking for meaning behind the SuperM plot for a while. Love Taemin being the villain as he is SM' ACE! I do have to say though, at times it felt as though you wanted to cough or you were about to lose your voice. It made me feel like I needed to clear my throat lool. I don't mean this in a rude way at all but as a person that studies voices maybe some vocal practices and warms for a stronger/clearer consistent tone would be great for future videos? That's just my view anyway, it wasn't anything that stopped me from watching anyway! Thank you for your hard work.

So this is my first time watching a kpop theory video and I’m blown away right now! The way you explained how the MVs are connected maid so much since to me! Like when I started the video when you said who the villain could be I said it was probably taemin before you talked about that part! Because I mean it’s kinda obvious after watching the first ever individual members of superM trailers I just had this villain vibe from taemin and I also just recently came up with a theory about how I think his power is mind control! So yeah Seriously this video was awesome! I believe it’s actually true tbh because even taemin said that ending to the One (Monster & Infinity) MV was a big spoiler for the story line and if you watched their reactions to the MV, the other members said they didn’t even know he filmed that or anything about that ending so I actually thing this could be true.

i'm late but😭 also, just something i wanna add to the taemin theory. in most of taemin's solo work (quite a few of his mvs actually) his signature pose is one of him standing with his arms spread, which i heard a lot of people calling it the t-pose. i think that pose basically represents jesus on the cross, which is not completely unbelievable, because taemin has religious refrences in a lot of his songs (in want he talks about temptation and a forbidden apple, while in idea he has a lyric that says "you are my messiah"). therefore, if that pose represents jesus on the cross, it might be a hint of him being "the creator" of the entire matrix

I believe Taemin controlling the black mamba. aespa trying to fight Taemin, and they are not losing (they're on the "next level"), while Taemin trying to warn them (it's for you one advice) but at the same time he realizes he's losing (better take my own advice). I also believe he's losing because the red force (Red Velvet) suppose to work with him but they are trapped by the cat (Joy?)
